We arrived at midnight and the man at the front desk couldn't get our cards to run through claiming that they had to be voice authorized from the credit card company. He ran every single one of my credit cards and my daughter's credit cards and none of them ran through. He then asked us to pay $800 in cash,... More

Booked that morning and got a good price for $149. Arrived and were welcome with very helpful front staff. Were able to check in at 1130am. Dropped bags off and was a quick walk to our bus stop. Ten minutes taxi from union station. We caught taxis most places just was unsure from the look of the area. FREE WIFI.

First the one and only (but very important) positive: the hotel's location is great, just a few minutes from the Staples Center (walkable). Being old is fine, but this hotel has not been maintained for a very long time. From the musty smelling sheets and nasty smelling rooms to cardboard covered holes in the wall and strange pit like bathtub/shower... More

Reserved a double "Mini-Euro" room only to find out it was a "NON RENOVATED" room (see other reviews...they are rotten and stink of smoke & booze) -- When I called asking that it be a renovated room, the attendants inform me that a group is going to be staying there and they are giving the renovated rooms to this group.... This is seriously THE worst hotel I've ever been to. It is also THE dirtiest. I've heard nightmare hotel stories from my friends and never did I expect it to happen to me. This was a last minute booking and this was one of the few places in LA that had rooms left. We arrived late (around 2am) I guess... More

I have three complaints about this hotel. First, it took two hours (until well after midnight) and six phone calls to reception before the noise from an adjacent room was addressed by the staff. I asked to be moved to another room but they claimed this was not possible due to 100% occupancy which I found hard to believe in... More

I just checked out today after a 4-night stay in the hotel. I must sah the experience was beautiful. I got one of the renovated rooms that was with modern design with large windows. The room was clean and regularly cleaned by the staff. The bathroom was kinda small but minimalist in the fixtures and towels and toiletries that were... More

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE! I would not even walk on that carpet in my socks!! This hotel, if you can call it that, looks like a slum created for a hollywood set. Homeless people and gangbangers abound this area. Carpets are disgusting, bathrooms are worse, and an autopsy room would smell better than these rooms. It's the first... More

The place is horrible! The rooms are disgusting, tiny and loud. They are doing construction throughout the entire place so all you hear are jack hammers and drills. We also got stuck in the elevator. All that joy for $140 a night. Run not walk away from here!
