Stayed there for a week and the experience was wonderful. The rooms were great and the service was wonderful. Wifi, view and other basic amenities was great. However the coffee in the room was little disappointing for me. I would like to have with milk, cream was not that good. HIGHLIGHT: located at the heart of downtown. Walls were so... More

The hotel was under renovation and there was dingy smell in the room no drinking water in the room but coffee maker was there the morning breakfast was average.the most annoying thing was that the hotel is situated in most ugly part of downtown with the worst thing that large number of homeless people living around the hotel .in the... I came to LA for pleasure with a good friend of my mine. Our hotel experience was TERRIBLE. First of all, when you order through am agent website they don't tell you about the $100 deposit they hotel until have your stay. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortabLe. The hallwalls reeked of urine and everything was SO old. The... More

This was a modest but very acceptable hotel with nice public areas, free wifi, friendly helpful staff, and a really comfortable bed. There were some minor complaints, like spots on the curtains and the restroom is small, but nothing serious. I wasn't looking for a luxurious hotel experience hanging out with my sweetie, I was there for a conference, and... More

We stayed here on a business trip for 6nights and the best part of the trip was leaving the hotel. The rooms were very run down, our ceiling was peeling off. There was screaming from the street for the first 2nights and then people moved in the room next to us and were partying for the rest of the week,... More

We were only staying in LA for 2 days and We booked the hotel thinking that it wasn't going to be the best thing ever since it was so cheap, however as soon as we walked in we were pleasantly surprised, the lobby was really nice, bright and spacious. We were greeted by friendly staff.

Stayed for 4 nights on a short break and can only with what a lot of people have said. The bathroom was very small carpets worn and frayed . The hotel is set in a dodgy area and the only saving grace is its closeness to the Metro for transport to other areas.

I had one night to kill back in LA before my flight back to Australia and wanted to see a different area… I wish I hadn't. The hotel itself is ok; old and rundown but still clean and secure. Staff were friendly. There is not much in the area at all though, and I felt a bit unsafe walking around... More

If you're on a budget and like history, this is for you. Very cute inside. Its very old, they've constantly renovating this hotel. But they don't do it in order. I was in room 703 and carpet was worn, fan and one of the lights in bathroom didn't work .Oh yeah its a ADA room (handicap room).
