We stayed here on our wedding night. It was nice and romantic, but the service was subpar. We had the "Romance Package" added to our doom, but we never received the 'breakfast in bed' that was part of the package. more

Richard Gaines, General Manager

Congratulations on your wedding! Best wishes for a happy and healthy life together. We are so proud to have been a part of your wedding plans. To find out that we dropped the ball on your most important date is most distressing. Though I cannot re do your actual wedding day, please note that I will use your comments to...

The hotel is in the middle of Little Tokyo and parking costs $24 per night but the price if stay wasn't bad -$115/night. The quality and upkeep of the room still needs a lot of work. They definitely don't match te pictures online. I've been goig to this hotel for years and it used to be top notch. But management... more

We were in L.A. for our son's brain surgery and needed to stay downtown near the hospital. This hotel was a quiet oasis away from the chaos of Los Angeles. We loved the Japanese garden and our room was beautiful. The service was great and we were very pleased. more

We stayed here for two nights, when we visited LA as the last stop on route 66. The hotel is located in the Japanese district just a few blocks from downtown (it takes you 10 minutes walking). The hotel is very nice, the rooms are good in size and the bed comfortable. The garden is a nice touch, it is... more

Location of Grand Kioto Hotel and Gardens is great if you're planning to go anywhere in LA Downtown. They have even a free shuttle service to mostly any hot spot in downtown. Problems started with the room. We had a booking for a Deluxe King Room (Reservation was done at their own website), and what we got was a Room... more

Value priced, right down the street from my meeting, easy to find and easy in and out. Did not use anything but the room but that was good enough for me. Would stay again! more

I stayed at this hotel twice before when it was The New Otani, 2 years ago & 5 years ago. It is the most convenient hotel to the office I work in while in Los Angeles. I loved it then but the renovations have made it even more beautiful. I just miss a couple of the lovely decorations from the... more

Our dissatisfied stay at Kyoto Grand started with an unfriendly staff at the front desk. When I asked the staff about the parking meter enforcement schedule, she said she doesn't know and was trying to get me to go with their valet parking ($30/night) which I declined. Then, she replied me with the "park at your own risk" phrase. We... more

The hotel emplyee collecting money upon departure from parking garage is obviously pocketing customers payment and required 'proof' that we were hotel guests and that we must have paper documentaion to prove we could recieve the $18 leaving feel (what a deal). While he made us feel rushed and we frantacally looked though our suitcases as there were other cards... more

We booked this hotel after cancelling a 4 day cruise that was no longer going to Ensenada Mexico. We had just been on a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise to No- Where - because of swine flu and didn't fancy another 4 days. After our first night back to Long Beach and Queen Mary hotel we struggled to find any... more
