This is reasonably price motel in a good location. There are good public transport links nearby and the hotel staff are friendly to assist in organizing trips etc. There are not many places to eat close by. The rooms are a bit dated but are good for the price.

I thought the room was very clean the bed were very comfy. Didn't have any trouble with staff. I would stay there again!!

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel and woke up after the first night with over 50 bites all over my body - bites clusters in multiple areas, swollen, very itchy. When I informed the front desk nothing was done. The receptionist didn't even seem to be "surprised". Well, at the end this is not the first review where people complain... More

This hotel is conveniently located just a block from the metro station. The room was clean enough and the room was fairly priced. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Just drinks and prepackaged Danishes and some apples near the reception. Both the employees at the front desk and the maintenance man seemed hostile with me with the few... More

The hotel was located beside a undergound station which is good although it is largely out of the way! The room was pretty small and had loads of things crammed into it that are unnecessary! The room was pretty clean and check in and out was ok!

We went to check in and needed to drive 2-hours for something we forgot. The manager said he would not hold the room for 2 hours (at 6pm) on our 3-day reservation that was guaranteed with a credit card. On top of that the manager was mean and rude. Ruined our week :-(

It is not four star hotel for sure, but it is value for money. It is suitable for those who are looking for a place to crash, nothing more. For that, the room is adequate, running hot water, dated but reasonably clean. Breakfast is very limited, coffee, tea, apples, banana, cheap pastries in plastic wrap and toast. There is a... More

The hotel overall was quite basic but to be honest this is what we expected so can't fault it. The prices of hotels we found in LA to be expensive, so this was relatively good value compared to others, although it was still pretty expensive for what it was. The location was pretty good on Sunset / Vermont, although we... More

Plus point - that the room was clean. Negatives - due to location near hospital, there is constant sirens and traffic noise. Whilst the Metro is accessible, the location is not within walking distance of any attraction. Parking for guests is limited if you arrive later in the evening. We had a particularly bad experience with customer service. On arrival... More

The room was perfect for 2 people , had a wide range of tv channels , a coffee maker , safe and complimentary shampoo and mouthwash!! The people at the front desk where lovely they even suggested to us things to do around LA , great value for money and only a 10'min cab ride to the hollywood walk of... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
