We decided to stay at the Roosevelt on a recommendation of a friend, we are glad we did. Beautiful, old hotel with all the modern amenities. We didn't have a chance to visit the pool (too cold) however the interior of the hotel was beautifully maintained and oozed ambience. Service was great, the staff were super helpful when we needed... Great location! Very under the radar, low key chic. The staff was amazing, very genuine and thoughtful. Beautiful decor, good sheets! The bathroom is a bit small for the size of the room and there are no drawers for your clothes, but once you get over that, it is the perfect hotel! We were there a week and it felt... More

Great old school Hollywood charm, super nice staff, cool bars and restaurants. But any room near the pool area gets BLASTED with awful music until midnight on weekdays, and 2am on weekends. Unless you're doing blow all night and don't intend to sleep or watch TV - that part SUCKS. Stay in the tower, high up, and facing Hollywood Blvd.... More

First of all, we were upgraded by the front desk to a cabana room, which was very nice but noisy due to the music by the pool. I won't go too much into detail but when we called the front desk, Sam was so sweet and tried his best to help us with the situation. He is the reason I'm... More

This was my second lengthy stay and my first time in a cabana room which is near the pool. I absolutely loved my stay: the service, the room, the location, etc.If you love being able to see what's hot and happening, but also love having the option of joining in or not then this is the room for you. I... More

I love The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. This hotel is so beautiful with amazing staff. I am from Canada and stay at this hotel twice a year for the last 7-8 years. The director of guest services Bre with the help of Russ and Drew were amazing. They arranged to pick up tickets for me downtown which was totally out of... More

Visited Hollywood for one night over spring break and the hotel was first class all the way. We had a king suite and it had been recently updated and was "awesome". The staff is friendly and we appreciated the hospitality and restaurant recommendations. Beds were nice and the hotel was "kid friendly" despite being more upscale. Finally, the location. It... My wife , 17 year od daughter had a one night stay and it was fun. We booked a double suite, with the extra room and bath were nice, particularly in an older style building with small rooms and baths. Service was really good from valet to check out. Perhaps it is because I am now 50 but while fun,... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
