I could not have looked more forward to staying here and I could not have been more disappointed. We booked a King Deluxe directly with the hotel. When we arrived, the receptionist said that she was "upgrading" us to a Cabana Room with a balcony. If this room was an upgrade from the "deluxe" we booked, I am sorry for... More

I stayed at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in late March/early April 2014. This was my first trip to LA. I found the location to be great. Right outside the door is access to Hollywood Boulevard, including the Chinese Theater, Walk of Fame, etc. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as some shopping. Lots of city tours leave from this... More

The Roosevelt is a piece of Hollywood history. The main hotel lobby area is just gorgeous and you couldn't ask for a better location in Hollywoood - just opposite the Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Highland Centre and on the Walk of Fame. The Roosevelt is an old hotel but this is part of its charm. My room in the... More

Be warned, none of the Cabana Garden rooms look anything like what is shown on the internet. There is no balcony/patio, just a frosted window that only opens about 10 inches. Completely false advertising. See photo. Also everyone in the front desk lines around us seemed to be having as many problems as we had with door keys not working,... More

The hotel is in a great location, not massively over priced and the rooms and decoration is pretty "cool" - got a rock n roll vibe. BUT its is 100% not a relaxing place to visit. Lots of noise and very thin walls. I was in a corner room on the 5th floor and was lucky looking at other reviews... More

This is an old hotel and the accommodation is the same. Old and tired. Great people. The food was ordinary. We complained about the noise from the air conditioner (sounded like a jet engine)and the result was they turned it off

A visit to the Walk of Fame and Hollywood would not be complete without ambling into the historic Roosevelt Hotel. This is where the First Academy Awards were held in 1929. The architecture is beautiful and reminiscent of grand hotels of that era. The central hall has cozy leather chairs and sofas to sit and enjoy a cocktail, which are... More

We stayed 5 nights in deluxe king bedroom type. We get a corner room on the 3rd floor. We were very disappointing with the room. The loud noise were coming from everywhere. (Sirens, Party animals, etc.) We couldn’t sleep without sleep-aid pills. No free of charges in this hotel, you must pay for everything:- Coffee in the room USD5 per... More

Stayed here for three nights in march. When we first walked into our room we were greeted by a large aluminum ladder and a mess all over the floor. Ten minutes after unpacking the door swings open without warning and a maintenance man walked in.we were up all night with noise coming from everywhere and a screaming baby in the... More

Stayed with my girlfriend for one night March 2014. Our cabana room was very nice and spacious and staff were great, however we were disappointed that the bar noise was so loud until 2am. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some noise and can sleep through most stuff - but the entire room was heavily shaking from the bass!... More
