We read the mixed reviews about the hotel before booking our stay. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were correct. We stayed in a Deluxe room with two queen beds. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy. When we spoke to the front desk about the noise, they replied, “sir, we’re an older hotel”. They did not offer Maintenance and/or a different room.... more

I loved this hotel, everything about it, it had such an authentic classy feel, the lobby is stunning and the staff very nice. The location is perfect just opposite the Chinese Theatre. First complaint was our concierge didn't know how to help us to get an international line out to Australia, so that was quite irritating, however his replacement, a lovely woman, redeemed them all by recommending the loveliest restaurant, and then securing us a booking there that evening.
