Flanked on either side by a Holiday Inn Express and a Best Western, I have stayed at all three. I would rank this and the Holiday Inn above the Best Western as it has outdoor corridors which take away privacy. I went for two back-to-back nights at the Hollywood Bowl. I didn't need a car and the Metro trains get... More

The Hilton Garden Inn is on Highland, midway between Hollywood Blvd and the Hollywood Bowl. The hotel itself is a fine mid-range place, we had a quiet top floor room that was quite nice, although on the side of the hotel with a view of the pool and a hill and little else (the other side may have a nice... Arrived at hotel after a great day at Universal Hollywood to be confronted by a Valet Service charging $32 per night. Hotel was booked via a Travel Agent so was unaware of such charges despite being mentioned on the Hotels website... apparently they use an external valet company despite the charges being made to your room number. Before even getting... More

I have to say that this was one of my best stays in a hotel ever. On my second day, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the managing staff who helped me plan an itinerary for the two days that I had of leisure time. She hit the nail on the head. The staff was always willing to... More

You could not ask for a more ideal location in Hollywood. It was a 5 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd and the Walk of Fame. It was also under 10 minute walk to the Hollywood bowl. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in a very handy location, a couple of minutes walk from Hollywood Boulevard. The most outstanding feature is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was happy and smiling. Breakfast was very good and also good value. Definitely recommend.

The location is good and the staff was OK. The problem was the room. I shared a two bed room and found the beds to be dangerous. The beds are on square wooden frames and the mattress does not fully cover the frame. So, it is very easy to hit your knee, leg on the wooden frame. The room was... More

Good location, close to walk of fame, Chinese theatre and shopping. Room was comfortable. Staff lorraine was very helpful in giving directions to places using public transport. Breakfast great. Only issue was no-one to help you with your luggage.

Hotel is in a good location for tourist attractions such as the Walk of Fame and Chinese theatre (walking distance) and a good base to drive to other attractions, such as the Griffith Observatory. The hotel is on a busy road, but this is typical of West Hollywood. They offer valet parking ($30 a night) but we parked ourselves instead... More

Great staff, great location-close to freeways, Hollywood, Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios, Mulholland Drive, Sunset Blvd, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and downtown is a short subway ride but rented a car to Dodger Stadium, Griffith Observatory.
