Great location if you are just here to sleep the day before going to Universal Studios. It is an Inn, so don't expect luxurious conditions. Owise good value for money and do note parking is 10 dollars extra.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Walls are paper thin (we could hear the guy in the room adjacent snoring). Dirty carpets, stuffy, the pool area is where the smokers congregate and it wafts into rooms facing that area. Staff weren't overly pleasant. Wasn't the cleanest either. No secure access to parking garage - door seemed to be left... More

This hotel is just OK for 1 night. We arrived to homeless people sleeping. In the flower beds near the front door next to the garage door. Not a good look and we felt unsafe. Checked into our room so small but bed looked clean and nice. The room was clean. The major issue we had was the paper filled... More

I would have left the moment I got here but my co. Was late booking our regular room here for the oscars which is usually the holiday inn express. But... More

The hotel did not offer toothbrush and toothpaste in rooms, I had to ask at front desk. And there was no electric kettle in rooms. There is no hot milk in breakfast, cold one made me sick for a while. All above were not fit chinese tourists' habits. The staff were all friendly, even helped me to change the 100... More

Have been coming to West Hollywood for more than 15 years to visit family members. The Days Inn on Sunset has been my primary hotel. It's location is outstanding, 3 blocks from the main tourist area, Hollywood Bld. ,and nests door to In N Out burger (with animal fry's). Te hotel staff is hardworking personal. The room are clean and... More

This hotel is one block from Hollywood Blvd, the Roosevelt Hotel and the Chinese theatre. We walked from our hotel to the subway station and took a quick 5 minute ride to Universal Studios. We paid $1.50 per ride as opposed to paying $30+ each way for a cab. We walked along Hollywood Blvd everyday, and there was always something... More

It was late at night, and we got screwed over from another hotel we previously booked, so my husband and I were driving around late at night looking for a place to stay. This pace looked decent from the outside so we went in to see if there were any rooms available. There was and we booked it for one... More

The carpet is dirty and smell bad. The room also smelled bad, I bought a spray. The walls are so thin that I couldn't sleep because the "neighbors" were talking. The breakfast was ok, but there wasn't any hot food. The pool was very dirty! I don't intend to stay there again, despite it is near of wall of fame

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
