Ive stayed here 3 times with my family. It is very convenient since its a few blocks from Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Mann Theater, many restaurants, shopping, street entertainment for all ages, Ripleys Believe It or Not, bars & tour companies. Theres a surcharge of $10 for underground parking which is the norm for this area. It is not... More

The hotel location is good, near the Walk of Fame, Chinese theater, Dolby theater, you can walk, there are several places to eat nearby. The room was comfortable and the staff have several employees who speak Spanish.

Easy walk to Hollywood Blvd and chinese theatre. Breakfast is included, very basic, but it suited us perfectly (bagels, toast, juice). Nice sized room (room223 with a window on the outside). The biggest downer is the paperthin walls, you can hear everything that happens next door, from families waking early to other activities...... Older lady at reception was nice nd... More

This hotel really is a good deal. First, I will start with the positives: This hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walk to Hollywood Blvd. The price is very reasonable considering that central location, and it is nice to have a free breakfast included. Our room was very small, but it had a comfy bed and a... More

Days Inn Hollywood Near Universal Studios is located on Sunset Boulevard, a few hundred meters from the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame. In the hotel there is a spacious garage. The rooms work well. I recommend to choose a room on the second floor with balcony. In the immediate surroundings there are plenty of fast food restaurants. Are you willing... More

I would stay here again based on the location 5mins walk to so many attractions and the Metro Station. (Just one stop up to Universal Studios) Our room had a view of the pool and a small balcony. We didn't have any noise issues and the free Wifi was appreciated, I had no trouble using Viber etc. There is a... More

great location. the rooms are a bit dated and we were given a room with a view of the corridor which was a bit ridiculous but when youre in LA you barely spend time in your hotel room so we didn't mind too much. the bed was extremely comfy. staff were pleasant. parking is $10 a day. free wifi is... Like the title says, this hotel's location can't be beat! Very short subway trip to universal, and walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard, Walk of Fame, and Chinese Theatre. Lots of great shopping and food options nearby, including In-N-Out Burger right next door! The hotel itself was average (a typical Days Inn). Could use a bit of updating but nothing wrong... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
