We really liked the hotel, but staff at the reception ( who was a kind of manager by the way) was unfriendly and behave as we came to his own home and he was doing us a favor. Also in the evening in the bar with the fire place we were waiting for the waitress for 30 min to ask for... More

I loved my stay here, which was in the first days of August for a conference. It's a very comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms, huge floor to ceiling wall of windows, and a scenic balcony seating. I had a great stay here but i do want to mention a couple of things. Wifi was not accessible in all of the... More

We loved this hotel over our 3 night vacation in LA, lovely views and quiet air con, very comfortable. the bedding was lovely, although the bathroom was fairly average. The lobby area is unique, with large screen TVs showing sports and news, live piano playing, and a bar in the middle. Also, there's a Starbucks, which in some ways saves... More

I was shocked to find there is no gym. For a hefty fee there's a gym in the building. So i wouldn't stay here again as that is about the only amenity i care about. Room was fine. Bed was fine. I cant believe no gym.

I am a frequent Hyatt hotel guest. I specifically chose this hotel to vacation thinking that I would love and enjoy it. Not a great place if you are accustomed to great Hyatt service, especially if you are a Diamond club member. What was wrong? 1. I made my reservations at least 3 months in advance and specified my room... More

...then the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza is probably not your gig. Staying here is a bit of a time warp - think high-90's, global luxury - you could be anywhere on the planet, paying big bucks. Potentially harsh, though beige with deep russet, gold and olive highlights is actually a low light - the world has moved on. Frustrations -... More

The reason for just average are multi-fold. Began with check-in after a very long flight. Had reservations for two double beds. We were told "there were no rooms with two double-beds", and there are "no guarantee's" when you make a reservation that you will actually get your room. We did not back down and suddenly our room appeared with two... More

I returned to the Century Plaza for one night after a long absence. Lots of newer trendy hotels in LA were worth a try. Many are quite good. Just had meetings in Century City and the convenience factor won out this trip. Not much has changed over the years, which is a good thing. Rooms are still large and comfortable,... More

I spent a few days here following my wedding this past weekend. The room itself was actually quite nice, But upon returning from my wedding i found my room had not been serviced which was a major disappointment. Also that same evening we requested towls that took just over an hour to come as we stood, showered without towels waiting.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza while I attended a writing conference held at the hotel. The hotel's public spaces - the lobby, pool, restaurants - were clean and contemporary. Our hotel room - with a king bed and balcony - was tastefully decorated in tones of cream, chocolate, tan, and olive. The bathroom, however,... More
