I have stayed at this hotel twice, mainly because of its location. The rooms are great; clean and comfy beds. However, they have a lot of high extra charges for services that are free even at cheap motels -- such as $20/day for internet service and over $20 to run on a treadmill. Very annoying, as the hotel rooms are... More

On our second part of our trip we (husband & I) stood here. The building itself takes you back to the 70's (in a good way) The look is very unique and cool. When checking in you look around and realize it doesn't look like a convention hotel at all. It's not stuffy looking or boring. It modern with a... More

This was my second time visiting the Hyatt in Century Plaza - and it hadn't changed! I stayed here around 9 months ago - all the way from Australia! I just had to come back to LA and explore again. AND some of the staff even remembered me, which made me feel like a valued guest. This hotel is probably... More

Prepare to be nickel and dimed to death in this hotel. The extra fees they levy here add up quick and it's no bargain. Good location and nice rooms though..i would say that if you don't use any amenities the price is right. But why stay in a 4 star hotel that has so few?

Perfect hotel for what we wanted to achieve in LA. Having previously stopped on Sunset Boulevard, it was clear that the Hyatt Regency was a much better choice in terms of location. The rooms were a lot more spacious than other hotels, and the lobby was a good place to both socialise and relax. The Honour Bar in the club... More

I checked into the Hyatt Regency after staying at the Andaz West Hollywood for 2 nights as my conference was there. You would think that I would not have been as impressed, however, this hotel is doing something right! From the moment I pulled up to the valet, to the second I left, everything was just looked after. My valet... More

It's difficult to believe this hotel is 50 years old now. It's International Style architecture has held up so well: a sweeping façade, a giant lobby, huge grounds with several swimming pools and spa, and every room with a balcony. With all of this comes a friendly and efficient staff, a marvelous lobby bar, an excellent restaurant (Breeze - reviewed... More

Nice location right around the corner from Beverly Hills. Very large rooms, and a beautiful pool area. Staff were all accommodating. We visited the hotels bars and restaurant. The service was always good, however the Breeze restaurant food was just okay. Overall a very nice stay, and I would stay again. Park across the street at Westwood shopping center to... More

When I stay at a Hyatt (usually for work), I expect a lot. This one didn't cut it. Yes, there was a bed, a desk, a TV, bathroom, etc. and it was clean. There is a gym - very basic. The décor is stark - sharp angles (hit my shin on the corner of the bed 3 or 4 times),... More

When your husband starts estimating how much it would cost to move into a hotel, you know you booked the right one! From the moment we checked in, he was sold. I chose the hotel because of its central location. I lived in LA for 12 years and love that Century City is close to the beach, West Hollywood, the... More
