We stayed one night before flying from LAX. We had a standard room that overlooked the road and it was great. Large, beautifully decorated, really comfy bed, no noise and great staff that go the extra mile. Breakfast also great - freshly made soufflé. Thanks!

I only had a very short 1 night stay here and all I can say is that it was just charming. From the warm friendly welcome from Rachael to the free drinks and late night cereal! The room I had was delightful and I loved the fact classical music was playing upon arrival. A really beautiful retreat from the busy... More

Regrettably we only spent one night here in this delightful location just 10 minutes by cab from LAX. We were greeted by Liz,as delightful an employee as you could wish to meet in any hotel. We had a large beautifully furnished king bedded room overlooking the front of the Inn.Although the road was busy during peak hours there was no... More

Serenity. Paradise. Blissful . Hospitality of the South , peaceful and serene like a beach vacation and minutes away from the City of Angels and hustle and bustle. Home away from home. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, wine and cheese in the evening and a staff that treats you like royalty! I can't wait to return!!!

What a great find, amazing place wonderful staff nothing was too much trouble for them. The lift was out of action when we stayed, however, Rebecca and her team would not hear of us carrying our luggage upstairs, we arrived in our room to find cases sitting there, thank you. The evening wine & nibbles get together was a great... More

We were a little nervous at first but read a lot of reviews and decided to base our 7 day stay in LA at The Inn Playa Del Rey, we were not disappointed! Rebecca and her team were very welcoming and the personal welcome note and cookies in our room was a small touch that went a long way. We... More

From the moment I stepped foot into this quaint little BandB, I felt relaxed and comfortable. The decor is gorgeous and I received stellar customer service from the staff. Very personable. My room was amazing. The enormous cozy bed, the fireplace and the breath taking view of the wetlands. It was lovely and peaceful. I started my morning with breakfast... More

Came out from Texas this March to resume the second half of my drive down the Pacific Coast. I started in San Francisco, stopped for three nights in Los Angeles and stayed at the Inn at Playa del Rey. Since I started this mini odyssey last summer, I have stayed at a variety of places: high, low and medium-end pricewise.... More

We paid $718.20 for two nights. The inn has nine balconies overlooking the wetland so you are almost guaranteed someone will be out on one talking and drinking all night. The doors and walls are not sound proof and even with ear plugs I could still clearly hear people yakking. The A/C is not whisper quiet, more of a roar.... More

InnatPlayadelRey, Assistant Manager at Inn at Playa Del Rey, responded to this review

Usually our manager responds to a not quite satisfied guest by thanking them for letting us know and promising to do something about the complaint. But since it sounds like I was the person on duty the days that you stayed I wanted to be the one to apologize. There are some mornings where the flow of guests coming to... More

This is my favorite place to stay in LA. It's a quiet oasis minutes from LAX. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The lend bikes at no cost. Parking and breakfast in included in the room rate. Each room is unique, comfortable and lovely. This is a soothing, relaxing... More
