We were a little nervous at first but read a lot of reviews and decided to base our 7 day stay in LA at The Inn Playa Del Rey, we were not disappointed! Rebecca and her team were very welcoming and the personal welcome note and cookies in our room was a small touch that went a long way. We... More

From the moment I stepped foot into this quaint little BandB, I felt relaxed and comfortable. The decor is gorgeous and I received stellar customer service from the staff. Very personable. My room was amazing. The enormous cozy bed, the fireplace and the breath taking view of the wetlands. It was lovely and peaceful. I started my morning with breakfast... More

Came out from Texas this March to resume the second half of my drive down the Pacific Coast. I started in San Francisco, stopped for three nights in Los Angeles and stayed at the Inn at Playa del Rey. Since I started this mini odyssey last summer, I have stayed at a variety of places: high, low and medium-end pricewise.... More

We paid $718.20 for two nights. The inn has nine balconies overlooking the wetland so you are almost guaranteed someone will be out on one talking and drinking all night. The doors and walls are not sound proof and even with ear plugs I could still clearly hear people yakking. The A/C is not whisper quiet, more of a roar.... More

InnatPlayadelRey, Assistant Manager at Inn at Playa Del Rey, responded to this review

Usually our manager responds to a not quite satisfied guest by thanking them for letting us know and promising to do something about the complaint. But since it sounds like I was the person on duty the days that you stayed I wanted to be the one to apologize. There are some mornings where the flow of guests coming to... More

This is my favorite place to stay in LA. It's a quiet oasis minutes from LAX. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The lend bikes at no cost. Parking and breakfast in included in the room rate. Each room is unique, comfortable and lovely. This is a soothing, relaxing... More

The Inn is a wonderful place for those who want the convenience of being near LAX, and for a relaxing welcoming experience. Walk to the ocean, sit and watch the sunset over the wetlands in the center of LA! Incredible in the middle of a major city!

I traveled to LA to visit my niece who is attending college at LMU. This bed and breakfast had been highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint. It felt like I was visiting a friend instead of staying at a B&B. Everyone was warm and friendly; they took extra care to make sure you know where everything is... More

The Inn is a hidden gem, overlooking the Ballona Wetlands, but only a quick drive to LAX. We watched snowy egrets and blue herons from our balcony, along with beautiful sunsets. Our room was spacious and comfortable with home made chocolate chip cookies to welcome us. The common areas were lovely. Guests gather for wine and cheese at 5:00 every... More

Ten years ago we stayed at this Inn and with that great memory still in our minds, we decided to do a "replay." The second visit was better than the first. For your consideration, here are some best reasons to choose this Inn: 1. Location, location, location. Only about 10 minutes from LAX! 2. Location, location, location. Given its proximity... More

The staff was amazing and could not do enough for us during our stay due to a kitchen remodel. We loved the room, the view of the wetlands and Marina Del Rey, and the home baked goods and breakfast every morning. Common areas are large and visitor friendly. We will be back.
