Stayed about five days in this place. Really couldn't asked for more. Great value for money! Although there is not a huge amount within walking distance, I would suppose that anyone staying here would have a car. Excellent secure car parking. Will be back! more

We loved this place. It was true to the photos and at the intersection of Sunset & Santa Monica it was a great location. Because of a fender bender we didn't arrive until 2am, but out hosts were still kind and courteous. We left our room in a bit of a mess the first day as we were rushing to... more

I had a nice stay in the Guest Room, which had a private room with a shower. We could also use the guest kitchen. Everything was clean. The host was very nice and totally flexible with check-in time. There was a 15 minutes walk to arrive at the metro station but you could also use the bus to get there.... more

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and found this to be the perfect base for getting around L.A. We drove here and loved the fact that there was gated parking. The neighborhood was also very nice and quiet. We stayed in the guest room and found it to be perfect for our needs and everything was also... more

I stayed in the Suite at the Sanborn Guest House for three nights (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) in June '08 while I visited my daughter and son-in-law who live nearby. The on-site owners were very accommodating and welcoming. The suite was spacious & charming. It included a sitting room, bedroom, and private bathroom. It shared an equipped kitchen with the... more

Sanborn House is a quaint, charming b&b in a quaint, charming and hilly Los Angeles neighborhood. The b&b is spotless and very private, but the host is warm and watches out for you. Sunset Blvd. has lots to offer if you're not averse to walking a bit. There are several restaurants on Sunset that are worth a try and by... more

Compared to hotel rates in L..A. this place was a great find. We stayed in the suite, which had plenty of room for two. The kitchen was nice to have available. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The TV was fairly small, but it worked. The yard and garden were cozy. The gated parking area was also nice to have. The... more

We had a really enjoyable stay at Sanborn House. 2 nights in the guest suite and 1 night in the guest room. A pleasant surprise to find that the rooms actually looked like the pictures on the website. They were spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed our stay in the guest suite as it felt like a real home from home. The... more

This is a lovely little house conveniently located just off Sunset Blv. and only a short ride to the tourist sites. The neighborhood is nice, a lot of small family houses surrounded by nicely kept gardens. The house is run by two caretakers who have kindly provided us with useful information about how to get around, including a map. We... more

What a discovery! I found the location of The Sanborn House -- right off the Santa Monica/Sunset Blvd junction -- central to my needs. There was no need to drive any where for dining and entertainment since Sunset blvd. had plenty to offer. The B&B was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking in the gated backyard was really a plus.... more
