This was my first time in L.A. Went to visit my son & his wife who live in the Los Feliz neighborhood. Los Feliz Lodge was only a mile away. I loved the casita, it wasn't fancy but it had character; kitchen was well equipped and the bed was really comfortable! We had a great time exploring the neighborhood. Went... More

Full disclosure: we're foodies, and we always try to find a place that's out of the main stream, but within walking distance of coffee, restaurants, metro stations. We're carless; we walk and take public transit. But we also like to cook. We look for apartments rather than rooms, so we can shop locally and cook for ourselves every other night... More

We've stayed in LA several times over the past 4 years, so we're very familiar with hotels in the greater LA area. But we had a hiatus due to our travels around Europe for more than a year. For this trip to the West Coast, we were looking for a place with a low key vibe and preferably a kitchen.... More

We were (still are) here for Special Olympics World Games. The villas are cute - 1bdrm with kitchen and living area. Our villa has a washer/dryer combo. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and Metro. Great views of the nearby hills. Owners nice and very accommodating!

Well kept, clean, delightful place. The White Casita is terrific for a single or a couple. Plenty of space to relax. Appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Stores and restaurants nearby. Loved it here. May stay again even though the kid moved to North Hollywood!

For around USD 250/nite, we had a great little suite right in Los Feliz. This is a B&B in a neighborhood, about a 5 min walk from Sunset Blvd. Very cool ambiance, very clean property, owners are very helpful and as available as you need. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back. Unreservedly recommend for B&B lovers.

My family and friends took over most of Los Feliz Lodge's housing when we were in LA for my daughter's wedding. I loved all the casitas which I was in (most of them). This sort of place is why we seldom bother with a hotel or motel any more. With so much space and comfort for a few dollars more,... More

My husband and I visited our daughter who lives in East LA very near to Griffiths Park so we wanted to be in her "hood". We could not have been happier in Villa #1503! The decor was in keeping with the Spanish stucco style architecture and the age of the Villa which appeared to be circa 1930's. Long leather very... More

We stayed in the Green Casita while in LA for a graduation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, small kitchen with stove, micro, refrigerator etc. No signs so the place looks like any apartment in the neighborhood. Check in procedure is sent to you and is no hassle. We loved it and would definitely stay again. Everything is within walking... More

Los Feliz is a great residential neighborhood without many good, convenient hotel options. I was thrilled to discover the Los Feliz Lodge as it a five minute walk to my son's apt. We stayed in Villa 1503 and the yellow casita. Both were spacious, well appointed, and very clean. Not fancy but very comfortable. There are a lot of good... More
