I stayed here with my boyfriend for a week at the beginning of May, in a private room, not the dorms. Everything was fine - our room was spacious, we had a microwave, a mini-fridge, free wi-fi, a TV and an air conditioner. The bathroom and the room overall felt a little dirty, but I think it might just have... More

I stayed one night here before catching my flight back to Bangkok on 24th April 2015. The hostel was located right on the Hollywood Blvd. with about 15 mins. walk to the epic centre of Hollywood activities. It is an awesome location. The room was spacious with kitchen and bathroom right inside the room. The place is well kept and... More

A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had a cute little private room that included a twin and a double bed. We had our own bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. The only thing I didn't really care for was the limited parking where you had to give the staff your car keys for the night in case... More

I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm for 2 nights on the recommendation of a friend. Not really sure that she was talking about the same place. The staff member who first showed me around was quite friendly but majority of people working there seemed bored. Social activities were available from the hostel which is good and the hostel... The staff were not very welcoming and friendly upon arrival and during my stay. I felt like i was bothering them. However, apart from that, everything went well. I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm. The room was pretty big and the bathroom as well as the kitchen area were clean. The kitchen is a great place to hang out... More

I was at the hostel for a week in early March. Really enjoyed my stay, met some very chill people. There are parties and other hostel-hosted events throughout the week, and they usually come with either free or cheap meals+all you can drinks specials. The staff are awesome, super accommodating and will help you get around. The only bummer is... More

I stayed at this hostel for 4 days and whist it was decent for atmosphere, it was certainly NOT SAFE for guests or their belongings. I was asked for my card details to be kept on file and they were either photocopied and not disposed of properly or used by one of the many staff members. They seem to have... More

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel because it really made sure that you felt like you were part of a community. The layout is very open and the staff are really friendly. The best part was likely the events they held. We were able to get unlimited rum/cokes predrinks and a ticket to a great club for like..... More

Convenient location. Close to the Strip (approx a 15 min slow paced walk) Great for young people who are travelling and want to meet new people. Daily night activities ensure fun for all. Breakfast is free everyday till 11am which is perfect! Staff are also willing to help and answer questions.

Bar crawl was super. They were out in the back selling drinks for a tip, and then organised a trip into Hollywood into some clubs at which point I was mashed and can't remember. Parking I took the last slot on the inside but looked very crammed. Rooms were OK, bunk beds, very small rooms showers were OK. Had a... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
