All I can say is this room is the size of 2 regular rooms no kidding! Now I believe that the corner Junior Suite is larger than others and all the windows make it really cool. Here are the only issues, the bathroom could have been bigger and nicer. Th decor is bland and the soap and shampoo need some... More

Second stay athe the Courtyard LA Live. We stayed here right after the hotel opened and just recently. We were upgraded to a corner room. Excellent rooms. Comfortable beds and spacious living room area. Excellent service. Best HD TVs of any Marriott I've stayed at when traveling. Close to Dodger Stadium and other downtown attractions. Great location and easy access... More

This Courtyard was fantastic. It felt very new, clean, modern, etc. My experiences with the staff were great. The housecleaning was impeccable. The location was great. All around a very pleasant stay—among the best business stay I've had in recent memory.

Great hotel, great service, right in the middle of things. Would definitely return. Causal dining in walking distance. Upscale dining in Uber distance. Small coffee shop for snacks. Very nice pool with cabanas.

I was in L.A. for a quick, one-day meeting and found myself booked into the new Courtyard near L.A. Live (downtown Los Angeles). The decor of this combined Courtyard and Residence Inn is modern yet comfortable. The room was very spacious and well appointed with a nice, large bathroom. The valet parking and front desk experience was exceptional. The valet... More

Beautiful hotel with modern spacious rooms. Many restaurants close by to enjoy. Outdoor pool with cabanas was impressive. Only open one year in July. Good for business travel or family stays. No restaurant, except for breakfast on 2nd floor. But don't sleep in too long because it closes at 10am

This Courtyard is located across the street from Staples Ctr, Club Nokia, Microsoft Center, LA Conv Ctr & restaurants/bars. The location can't be beat, right off I10 freeway. Hotel valet parking is $40/day w/ in&out priv. There is an outdoor parking lot around the corner that charges $30/day w/ in&out priv; self-park. Room was spacious, clean, bed was comfy &... More

This was my second visit to the hotel property. Arrival was quick and efficient using the valet service. Very courteous and friendly. A great first impression. Our checkin was smooth, cheerful front desk staff eager to provide a great experience. The lobby has a crisp and fresh look providing a pleasurable environment for people watching, indulging in a cocktail or... More

This hotel had it all. Nice room, adequate space. Good services. The outdoor pool on the third floor is incredible--lighted heated, very comfortable. The deck is nice for an outdoor drink. In the lobby the little cafe has everything you and your family might need--snacks, breakfast, cocktails for the adults. The location near the LA Live and Staples Center is... More

I am usually at the JWMarriott when in this area for work...but a totally sold out hotel landed me at the Courtyard. Couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The hotel appears to be either new or newly renovated and it shows. The lobby is modern with sufficient seating and plenty of power outlets which I had to comment was so... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
