Love this place. Super friendly and attentive staff, rockin' romantic rooftop pool with cozy cabañas, unbeatable downtown L.A. location. Highly recommended for whatever kind of stay you might have in mind.

I had never stayed anywhere close to downtown LA before, but I will be back. This hotel is perfectly situated to sever major freeways, sits right across the street from the LA Live complex and the Staples Center, has tons of food options within walking distance, and has every amenity that one could need. The hotel room is well appointed,... More

What a great place to stay! Another great hotel by Marriott. The last place we stayed on our USA holiday. Service was excellent and rooms are massive. Great restaurants close by and across from the staples centre as well. Pool was nice and was warm too. Everything you need this hotel has. They have cold flavoured water waiting for you... More

The rooms here are gorgeous and the atmosphere more serene than across the street at the larger hotels. You're in the heart of the action without being in the midst of the chaos. Within walking distance of many great LA sites - The Grammy Museum, LA Live, Staples Center, the Nokia Theater, great restaurants from WP24 to The Pantry (a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here - exceeded my expectations on accommodations and service! A package was supposed to be delivered to me here and it didn't show - the front desk team went WAY above and beyond tracking it down and bringing it to me at my meeting at another hotel! Shout out to front desk David for a fantastic... More

This is a very nice combo hotel . . . a Courtyard together with a Residence Inn. I stayed in a Courtyard room, which are on the south side of the building (to the right as you exit the elevators). When I made my reservations, the room prices for either Courtyard or Residence Inn were about the same. With RI... More

Very nice stay here while visiting for a conference. This hotel is just two blocks from the Convention Center and across the street from LA Live and Staples Center. I was greeted to a very simple and quick check in. The young lady then came out from behind the counter with my key and walked me to the elevator, explaining... More

This is a nice hotel for a business trip. It is very close to a lot of nice places to eat. The area feels very safe to walk around in. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. All in all a great stay.

The hotel is a budget hotel but not really charging budget rates! Its a brilliant location for LA Live, Nokia Theatre and Staples Centre with lots of surrounding restaurants and 7th & Metro Metro stop just a 10 minute walk away. It was clean, lovely room (room 723) but shower only no bath, very tiny wardrobe space (tricky as I... More

Good afternoon and thank you so much for staying with us and sharing your feedback regarding your stay. Your absolutely right.....the armoire is small and not designed for long term stay....Hope this will not deter you from returning as we also have the Residence Inn brand in our same building which has larger more spacious rooms that are built for... Stayed here for one night. Great location. Clean. Modern. Business friendly lobby. My new go to hotel in downtown los Angeles. Valet though was $42 but what do you expect in downtown LA. Next to staples center Nokia etc. If your in for business you will love the workstation pods.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
