4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

I stayed at this hotel in April. The property looks new and the room was very nice and spacious. I only have a complaint about the follow up with an issue I had during my stay. The light of the bathroom was activated by a motion sensor that was broken, therefore the light was turning on and off continuously by... More

Conveniently located nearby Staples Center with good restaurants options just crossing the street. We lost our phone and it was found and sent home at not charge! Thank you Mr. Zamora from the Loss Prevention Office.

Because of the good reviews I read here in Tripadvisor, I booked and stayed at the Residence Inn. However, I did not experience a 100% positive stay. My room was generally clean on the day I checked in. The front desk and overall employees were friendly and greeted me when we made eye contact. I really appreciated that. However, the... More

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us (me). I am so sorry to hear we did not come close to meeting let alone exceeding your expectations. I have absolutely already shared your posting with all the staff (mangement and associate), however I can assure you this is not the norm for us. We are in the business of keeping... More

Beautiful hotel located in LA down town close to the city’s tourist places. Loved the interiors and view of Hollywood from my room. Breakfast had a good spread and gets you ready for long days at Universal Studios or Disney Land. Hotel staff was hospitable and helping. Enjoyed my short stay at the hotel.

Stayed here on a three day visit to watch the Lakers and visit Universal Studios. Perfect location with short safe walk to the Staples Center and restaurants. Staff were excellent - able to get our room despite arriving at 10am. Helped with getting over the 12 hour flight. Room was big and designed for long term stays. The breakfast included... More

Great service at desk, valet, restaurant. People are always their for you & always helpful even when we were just waiting for someone in the lobby they would ask to make sure we were taken care of or needed anything. We felt like they really genuinely cared about each individual. Within walking distance of the Staple Center and LA Convention... More

The location is the primary benefit to staying at this Residence Inn property - it's located right across the street from LA Live and also walkable to the rest of downtown and USC. As is theme at Residence Inn's, my room had a full kitchen and is designed for long-term stays. The staff was friendly and helpful at each interaction.... More

The property is located perfectly for the downtown LA, LA Live area. It is new, clean, well appointed and the staff was more than helpful. We stayed downtown after a Kings game and had a GREAT time. We will be back!

Stayed here while on a college trip to USC and UCLA and it was well located for both of those campuses. Walking across the street to LA Live was quite convenient as well as walking to downtown LA for dinner. Rooms are clean. We had a 2 BR handicapped accessible room which I am sure is great for those who... More

Let me start by apologizing for the length of this review. However, this actually is TWO distinct hotels, a Courtyard and a Residence Inn, co-existing under one roof. This confusing arrangement makes it worthy of closer inspection. My team and I stayed at this Residence Inn in March 2015 and found it to be a great choice. Let’s start with... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
