I was amazed by the high quality of customer service Residence Inn has. I have been to lots of the other chain hotels and I must say this was definitely two thumbs up. The front desk was awesome. They made us feel VIP which is the type of service that makes anyone feel welcome and important. They also called me... More

Loved this hotel and the room. I had asked for a high-floor room and got exactly that. The views of the downtown were amazing and I did manage to experiment with my time-lapse photography skills. We also had the room with a kitchen, which turned out be useful, since we were traveling with kid. The valet parking will charge you... More

Its definitely up to par with other Marriott properties. But to charge $250 for a hotel room and then ask for another $45 dollars to park you car overnight is really a rip off - in particular when other Residence Inn/Courtyard properties are in the $150 ball park with free parking. Tourist trap indeed.

Thank you to the AMAZING staff at Residence Inn LA LIVE! I had tickets for a concert at the Staples Center. I knew it would run late so I decided to book a hotel room. The Residence Inn was the perfect price point for a bed to sleep in after a late night. However, when I arrived at the Hotel,... More

I stayed here for 1 quick night for work and it was really great! Tim checked me in and he was friendly and helpful and even gave me an upgrade! The hotel rooms are super clean and very high end. It reminded me of a "W" Hotel. The free breakfast was also really good. The hotel is directly across from... More

Convenient location close to the Convention Center, Staples Center, and there's also a Target close by on Figueroa Street, if you need to pick up supplies. There's a Smart & Final food store also close, but I didn't go in there. The hotel is walking distance to 7th Street / Metro Center Station, and also the Pico station on the... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise!! It has a full kitchen (we didnt use but just sitting at the counter was more space and nice to put shopping bags and milk/water/beer, etc) The hotel breakfast is worth the $38 valet parking rate - it is superb and clean and maintained (the breakfast that is:) The bar area is small but...
