I have just returned from staying at the InterContinental Century City and although there was nothing wrong with the stay, I left feeling I had been short-changed some how. This started with my room not being ready until after 4pm on the day of arrival and the hotel appearing a little dated on first impressions. Once finally in the room... More

We were in LA for our niece's graduation from UCLA so we booked this hotel for it's proximity to the campus and decent rate compared to everything else in the area for that weekend. Upon stepping out of our car we felt like royalty. There were staff members everywhere ready and willing to help with whatever we needed. When checking... More

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental for 3 nights on business. They upgraded me to a suite and the accomodations were absolutely lovely and very spacious. There was also a small balcony with a nice view. It was very pleasant to sit out there with my morning coffee. The hotel staff are extrememely frindly and accommodating. The hotel provides a... We got a deal for this hotel thru Priceline. The hotel was gorgeous inside with a beautiful lobby, bar area, and reception. The rooms were nice and tasteful. Good location, close to Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and UCLA (we were there for UCLA graduation, so proximity to campus was important to us). Would definitely stay here next time in LA!

The place looks impressive. Huge entrance hall and marble/granite everywhere. When I checked in, they were overbooked and forced me to upgrade for $50/night to a larger room. No compromise. Concierge sort of rude. Valet parking $36/night. They still took almost 20min to get the car out of the garage. Snickers bar in room: $5 Borrow a DVD player: $25... More

What can I say; anything less than 5 stars just wouldnt be fair. I stayed the last weekend in May and as a Platinum Ambassador member, I was upgraded to a lovely suite overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The staff were all consistent in their level of impeccable service and respect without that stuffiness, sometimes apparant in 4-5 star hotels. It... More

Beautiful hotel. Centrally located to all the attractions that entice you in a big city. Got a great deal on Travelocity which surprised the upscale guests that were greeted alongside plain ole me! We had a blast pulling up in our Toyota next to Mercedes and Lexus's. Please try the grapefruit martini - put me to sleep comfortably each night!

Excellent location and some delightful staff who are genuine and kind. Some staff probably need to be reminded that they have a job there as opposed to own the place but this is a handful. Excellent quality food, great variety and probably best hotel food I have eaten worldwide. Great size rooms, but they are in need of refurbishment. Walking... More

We decided at the last minute to travel on the May long weekend and picked Los Angeles because it had an InterContinental hotel. We received great service throughout our stay. The valet service was excellent. Delightful staff in the restaurant. I especially enjoyed the courteous and helpful staff at the front desk. The gym facilities were well equipped, clean and... More
