The rooms are pretty dated. When we entered our room we saw two large pots with plastic bags in them were being used as our room and bathroom garbage can, and the table and chairs that were in the room were completely covered with table and chair covers which made us wonder what was underneath the cloth. However, the location... More

The Hotels in a great location and represented reasonable value for money. Good staff. Room needed refurbishment. Make sure you visit the Farmers Market and The Grove Shopping Center. There was a good Bistro Restaurant adjacent. The worst thing about the hotel is the noisy air conditioning unit that continued all night

We started a tour of California with a 3 night stay at the Park Plaza. Whilst the hotel can't be described as luxurious, the location is great. The Farmers' Market is just a 10 minute walk via The Grove Mall. The hotel was comfortable though we did have quite a noisy neighbour - a hazard of any hotel. Very reasonably priced... More

Really old room. Had not been upgraded in a long long time. Worried about cleanliness. No duvet cover. Sheets didn't fit bed well. No air conditioning or any thermostat in room. Hot. No lock bar on door. Bath water came out green(!) as green tea. Could not shower or bathe after seeing that. Pool too small and right next top... More

Was in LA for business and didn't really know where to stay! I wanted a well located hotel and saw that this hotel was next to the Grove and had free parking so I thought i'd stay here! - Stayed for 4 nights in room 222 (view of the swimming pool - very quiet!). - The room looks old and... More

This was a great experience! We arrived in Los Angeles as a spur of the moment thing and thought, "there is no way we're going to find a close, comfortable, clean hotel, at a good price". Boy were we ever wrong! When we pulled up, the sign looked a little dated, but after going into the lobby, we could tell... More

This was probably the cheapest hotel available in West Hollywood for our last minute trip to LA. I had some doubts about booking but reviews were good and gave it a try. Well, this hotel is all about location and price: - Walking distance to the Farmer market and the Groove - 10 minute drive to all the best of... More

The exterior and some of the common areas of this hotel need some updating. But our room was very clean, very comfortable and quiet. The internet worked without a problem. The staff was all very friendly. If you are looking for an economical hotel in a good location, I would recommend this hotel.

Last time I stayed here, the room was spacious, quiet and very clean. This time it was in a different wing (many hallways in this giant old building). It was raining and I forgot that parking was down a long side street away from front door and my room was upstairs and far from car. Desk help not likely to... More

We initially booked this place for a couple of days but kept extending our stay. It's a great location and the whole city is easily accessible. There's free parking and it's next to the Grove neighbourhood with lots of food options. The room itself was a little dated but it had good wifi, cable tv and everything you'd need. It... More
