I was actually pleasantly surprised by our one-night stay here. I paid 128.00 total (for a room in a pretty good area of LA!) and didn't really expect much for that price. Check in was quick and the man at the counter was sweet. The hall to the rooms is pretty bare bones so I was pleasantly surprised when we... More

Chose this hotel for its proximity to my nephew's home. Just as most of the review stated, it is in a central location and for that reason it might be a good choice. The rooms definitely need renovation but it was "ok" for a quick overnight stay. The best thing about the hotel was Ron..the night desk clerk. He was... More

I booked this hotel in JANUARY with "Bookings.com" for my stay in JUNE. I received a confirmation number and pin number via email! So all is good, you would think........... Well I get there, after a 7 hour flight and find out that my reservation was CANCELLED, due to a credit card that was not updated in MAY when they... More

Great surprise: very spacious and clean rooms. The exterior and the hallway don't do justice to what you'll find once you open your door. Quick walk to park, nice shopping center/market, Melrose ave, etc. We took the bus right in front of the hotel which took us straight downtown (ridiculously cheaper than taxi). Overall very happy with our choice to... More

I stayed here for three nights and the best part about this place was the location and pricing. It is near a few major shopping centers, West Hollywood, and about 30 minutes from downtown. I felt safe going in and out the hotel and check-in took a couple minutes. The rooms were outdated but the bathroom was nice and had... More

Stayed here in April 2015 because of the close proximity to CBS Studio and Price is Right and we were happy we only booked 1 night. Upon entering the room we walked into a sauna , it was about 130F because the a/c was unplugged. It took about 3 hours to get the room under 100F and luckily there is... More

Glad that we gave Park Plaza Lodge a try. Previously stayed at Farmer's Daughter when we wanted to be near the Farmers Market, and though Park Plaza is dated, it is much friendlier and the front desk kindly permitted us to park our truck near the entry as they had available space and the other parking options was a bit... The rooms are pretty dated. When we entered our room we saw two large pots with plastic bags in them were being used as our room and bathroom garbage can, and the table and chairs that were in the room were completely covered with table and chair covers which made us wonder what was underneath the cloth. However, the location... More

The Hotels in a great location and represented reasonable value for money. Good staff. Room needed refurbishment. Make sure you visit the Farmers Market and The Grove Shopping Center. There was a good Bistro Restaurant adjacent. The worst thing about the hotel is the noisy air conditioning unit that continued all night

We started a tour of California with a 3 night stay at the Park Plaza. Whilst the hotel can't be described as luxurious, the location is great. The Farmers' Market is just a 10 minute walk via The Grove Mall. The hotel was comfortable though we did have quite a noisy neighbour - a hazard of any hotel. Very reasonably priced... More
