I was really surprised at how nice this motel was considerring how cheap it was compared to many others in LA. The rooms were really nice, clean and quiet. Good size, with cable tv, fridge and walk in wardrobe. The location was good so long as you don't go wondering the streets at night, China Town is pretty dead after... more

Room: - Pros: The room was large, clean and well eqipped with a decent size bathroom. Cons: Very noisey air conditioning, one lamp didn't work, only a few English channels on TV, phone only for incoming calls Staff: Only saw the reception man and manager who all speak very loud to you like they are shouting Facilities: Free Parking though... more

I called the hotel asking about a guest . I wanted to know if he checked out & if he didn't I needed to talk with him. The front desk employee was very disrespectful to me & very impolite. He was shouting at me & not trying to hear me & he hung up on me. I called him again... more

The room was tiny little but it had everything and it was clean. It was a good access to the attractions in los angeles. The surrounding is kind of dirty and i wouldn't walk alone in the night, but during the day it is nice. It was very interesting for us because we got to look in the chinese culture.... more

For the price ($55/night including tax) we got a room with two double beds, nicely appointed furniture, small bath, and classy-looking bamboo flooring. The staff was great--very helpful. There was always enough--just enough--parking. 10-15 minute drive to USC and clkose to public transit. Can't wait to come back. more

This hotel is the heart of China town which is a pretty good location. Its close to Hollywood, Sunset Strip, Mulholland Drive, and Rodeo Drive. We were looking for a decent hotel for a smart price with free parking and internet and we got just that but were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. The rooms were recently... more

Clean, basic, inexpensive motel in Chinatown. Convenient to major highways. The parking was tight, but we always got a spot when we came back. The free high speed internet was always reliable. Within walking distance to great Chinese food. We would stay here again. more

Stayed for two nights while going to a Dodger game, visiting Santa Monica and Hollywood. Location was especially good for Dodger Stadium. Chinatown a little quiet at night if you're looking for a party. Great little bakery for coffee and buns a block down at the Central Plaza. The room was very clean. I liked the bamboo floors...don't have to worry... more

The Royal Pagoda is a Motel - don't expect a 4 star hotel - it is not in that class. What it is, is a comfortable place that is perfect after a Dodger game (approx $5 cab ride from Dodger stadium). The rooms are standard but spacious and clean with a mini fridge and decent size TV. The 'Chinatown' stop... more

I did not like this motel at all. It was really small, smelled bad ,and the sheets were dirty. The staff service was below average, the area was not ok, and the parking uuuugggghhhh we had so much trouble getting in and out of there because of the small space i damaged my car . the only good thing about... more
