Upon arrival the staff weren't too friendly although they helped a little to ensure the cleaning of our room as we arrived. We were on the second floor. You couldnt swing a cat in the room, it was tiiiinnnnyyyyy! There was a tv which even had on-demand, but no coffee machine which I would expect in any hotel as standard.... More

We got into LAX just before midnight and still had to drive 5 hours north out of LA to get home. I knew traffic would be bad getting out of LAX in the morning so I chose this place, on the North edge of Los Angeles to stop for a few hours of sleep before continuing on as this place... More

We stayed here for one night so as to attend a BBQ at Porter Ranch. My biggest criticism was the method of payment at Front Office. I gave my Amex card to the clerk. This system asked for a PIN number as all Australian credit cards do, as the office was closed off by a total screen, as you see... More

I have to say this is the best motel my family and I have stayed at while vacationing in California on a budget. 20 minutes from Universal Studio's and Hollywood Walk of Fame and bout 20-30 minutes from Venice beach. I booked a double bed. Very spacious rooms, clean nice size beds (fits 2 adults) and updated. Poor lighting over... More

Booked this hotel for two nights because it was a half mile from the wedding venue we were attending. It was just okay. It was clean, although dated. Other family members stayed there also. My sister had to keep her bathroom door closed because her shower dripped constantly. Breakfast was basically store bought pastry and coffee. Price was $80/night w/AAA.... More

Found this hotel online, checking all of the properties in the area vs price vs any perks or discounts against my various loyalty membership programs (got the best rate using my ABVI&S member number). In the area for kid's recital at Cal State Northridge, but all of the low to mid range lodging closer to CSUN had reviews characterized by... More

Did lots of searching to find a decent room at a decent price near LA and Universal Studio. Came in at 7 pm after hours of traffic and over all tired. Posted price was 60.00 but check in clerk says all the 60.00 rooms are gone and he only has 90.00 rooms left. No Way. We felt used and left... More

We booked two rooms for one night. 1 accessible double queen, 1 double queen. Both rooms were clean. We were disappointed with the amenities of the accessible room. The refrigerator sat uneven on the floor and the refrigerator door was difficult to open without knocking over the microwave (which was on top of the refrigerator). The bathroom was not fully... Room decor and bedding was lovely. Shower water pressure was magnificent. Pool was freeeeeezing so we didn't go in. Continental breakfast was coffee, tea, and some tiny syrupy pastries--we'd been hoping for something more substantial. Still, overall a decent stay.
