Upon arriving we were charged an additional fee for my small dog that was not mentioned before ( I had already paid all pet charges on my credit card when I made the reservation). Upon entering the room itself we found not two double beds as requested but a regular double bed and a rollaway cot added to the room.... More

We arrived late at night and were able to gain someones attention who was still working in the office. After we received our key, this person wasn't there anymore. No wonder: sheets and covers were dirty, even blood stains on them and hair everywhere. The entire room was dirty and disgusting. Only recommendation: stay away from this place!

I've returned this week after spending three nights at Westside Rentals Hotel in LA last week, which I booked on the recommendation of helpful folk at TripAdvisor. Overall my experience was positive. Firstly, this is a cheap hotel. I always felt safe, both in the hotel and the surrounding streets (I'm a woman in my 50s, travelling by myself). The... More

When my girlfriend and I first arrived late in the evening, we discovered that the doors to Westside Rentals were locked and the lobby was closed. Not what I wanted to discover after a long trip and arriving in LA late at night. So we broke out the cell phone just to get them to open the door for us.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night just to see the sights. It was the perfect location. Not on the busiest street, but close enough to walk to and enjoy. This place was adorable. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and cozy. The management (Ed) was very friendly and helpful. Anywhere you wanted to go or anything you wanted to... More

From the moment we arrived at this great Hotel, the service was outstanding. Very helpful with all information and locations to sight see in Hollywood and surrounds! Situated only 2 minute walk from Hollywood Boulevard and the "Walk of Fame", from the corner we could see the famous Hollywood sign too! Whether you are a first time traveller to L.A.... More

We stayed there this past summer and we had a great time. The price was excellent and the staff was friendly and at three in the morning we could order pizza or borrow a DVD movie or browse the web in the lobby and chat with people working through the night who were there to make sure everything was going... I don't usually bother with things like writing reviews online, but since I found this hotel through this website, which at the time had only one review on it, I thought I should return the favour. I was glad I took that one reviewer's advice, because this little hotel is fantastic. I don't know how you would find anywhere better... More

I stayed at this hotel for six weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The entire place is very clean, up-to-date, and the staff are all so nice!!! The place is pretty recently renovated... everything is brand new, right down to the shower curtains! Cable internet is free... which is very convenient! (You just ask the front desk for a cable... Although this hotel seems to be aimed more at people who have just moved to the area and need a temporary base while finding a place to live, it's very convenient for tourists too. Under $100/night in Hollywood is really hard to find. The location is great - one block north of the Walk of Fame, on the 163 bus... More
