Not too close to the busy Venice sea-front area and just round the corner from good restaurants and shops. The best bit...a short stroll across the sand and you're in the Pacific surf! Todd and Mike are two laid-back, friendly and helpful guys. A good place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and the hotel certainly delivered. The hotel is on the far end of venice beach, located between houses and apartments, nearer to Marina del Rey rather than the touristy muscle beach etc which suited us perfectly with the location walkable to a couple of excellent bars and restaurants. Rooms... More

Three things to be aware of: limited parking (8 spots, first come first serve), no air conditioning in rooms and no night staff / self entry. Since this isn't a major hotel (it is more of a bed and breakfast) the parking situation is acceptable and there are plenty of other parking options in the area. The air conditioning concerned... Knowing that I wanted to spend quite a bit of time at Venice Beach, I decided to book somewhere that was fairly close to the beach. This hotel is literally right along the boardwalk, and despite the crowds of people walking past it, the noise level is actually quite low. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the staff are... More

Unrivalled Location right on the beach. Very clean hotel and friendly staff and the manager Todd Roberts was very helpful. Worth every dollar for the location alone, the cleanliness and friendly staff were a bonus. Also has a roof terrace and patio that is not available with other hotels on Venice beach. Would recommend to others. Kishan Gill, London UK

Stayed for 2 nights in july. It was one of the best short holidays of all time. The hotel has it all: - fantastic location (right at the beach walk) - great outdoor seating - awesome rooftop ( we sat there in the morning with our coffee and in the evening with our beer) - great sunset - small breakfast... My wife and I recently stayed here overnight and were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and quality of this hotel. It is an older building which has been nicely updated, with good comfort being found in its smallish rooms. The location is perfect-- its small courtyard opens right onto the beach near the pier. It is a short walk down... More

First I will start with what I liked. If you must be on the beach, this is a fabulous location. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The room was a little small, but spotless. The bed, extremely comfortable! The bathroom was also tiny, but enough. The shower pressure could be better. Breakfast was extremely basic: cereal, orange juice, bagels, and fruit.... More

The hotel is REALLY on the Beach - You can put on the roller blades on hotel terrace and go!!! Staff is really helpful. One thing I did not like - room is very small and You hear noise from outside for the whole night. Looks like there is no AC in the room.
