We spend our first two days in this hotel. No palace but clean, friendly and good location. Free wireless internet was good and free parking!! Some notes: the airco did make noises and breakfast exciists only donuts, other sweet bread and little croissants. Overall it was really a good choice. more

The owner and receptionist are friendly. There was one day the pastries(strange for breakfast though caused there is no bread provided) were all gone, the owner immediately drove to somewhere nearby to replenish. Good service. The room is big though but the toilet is old and the door couldn't close good. Airco so it's good for the always warm weather... more

LA can be very expensive, and very hard to find a good place. The Hollywood City Inn is a good choice if you want to combine value with location. It is a little rough round the edges, but perfectly clean and comfortable with a great pool area and a very helpful and friendly proprietor. Breakfast is simple ... but free!... more
