If you are looking for the Four Seasons, this is not it. If you want inexpensive and clean steps away from the Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and Hollywood and Highland, this is it. Our bathroom light was out and they immediately sent someone to fix it. They offer coffee and tea in the morning. The rooms have good size... More

We booked in here as it was close to Universal Studios. On arrival, it looked more run down than online, and the clientele also ran to the loud and obnoxious. Screaming and shouting on the footpath in front of our room at 2am did not help matters. The room was basic, but fine. Shower and WiFi worked well. Be careful... More

Quite good value. Good location if you want to experience hollywood. Old and dated but tidy. We were put in smoking rooms which was a downer, but the host was trying to help us by giving us bigger beds. Breakfast not good, but it was a cheap stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. It's right in the huddle and bustle of Hollywood so we didn't need to get taxis in or out which saved us money. I read all the bad reviews which made me scares of the place but I ignored it and stayed here anyway and I'm glad that I did. The... More

Chinese owned. Check in happens in a counter with bulletproof partition. It gave me the impression the region is not very safe. The room is big (the hotel is very old). Hardwood floors, which are easier to clean and made me decide to stay even if the room did not seem very clean. There was even a hole in the... More

I stayed there for 4 nights in september, although i was worried that a motel might not be safe or clean, i was pleasantly surprised. Yes its hard to communicate with the staff, you ask something and they answer to something else. Yes the corridors smell a bit humid. Yes the breakfast is stale donuts and coffee. BUT its walking... Absolutely good location. Close to Hollywood Blvd. Very clean. Good to have a parking space in this location. We stayed there for 2 nights and we have absolutely nothing to complain. The bathroom was spacious. Despite the proximity to HW Blvd.,the motel was very quiet. The chinese staff was very friendly and helpful, but there was some kind of a language... More

This was a great hotel/motel given the location. It's at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and La Brea, so you can just walk out of the motel and walk down Hollywood Blvd. If you're a budget traveller like I am it's pretty much perfect. It's about 5-10mins walk from the nearest metro train/subway stop, so you can get the metro... More

I recently stayed at this motel from 9th - 12th Sept You will be asked for your credit card & passport, your passport will be photocopied! I stayed in room 214, the bed was clean & comfortable, the bathroom was clean, there was a hairdryer, tv, mini fridge, & phone, & free wifi. The towels & bedcover were a bit... More

I had slight reservations about this place before booking, but positive reviews on Trip Advisor made me give it a go and I'm glad I did. You'd struggle to find a better location in Hollywood - a lot of the main attractions are nearby and there's plenty of food places on your doorstep. Despite its proximity to everything, the motel... Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
