I have just returned after spending 9 nights at this motel and I already miss it. After a 12 hour flight from London I arrived in a very stressed mood and I was kinda of gutted not to get the room I had asked for but I arrived late and the motel was fully booked up. Shaila the owner promised... More

Hotels in Hollywood are expensive. This is the cheapest I could find with acceptable rating. We arrived past 11pm and we could check in without any problem. We had 2 cars and parking in hotel premises was available free of charge. The staff was nice and friendly. My son needed to use toilet urgently upon arrived at the hotel, the... More

Stayed here on my own for 5 days in Feb 2015. What an excellent budget motel! My room was large and the bed was so comfortable. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and the fridge and microwave in the room came in very handy. The free wifi worked perfectly. My room had a private balcony overlooking the courtyard... Cool place to stay in LA. Pretty cheap, friendly staff. They seem to have a nice community along the road where this is located where you can get everything you need during your stay, such as taxi, car rental, travel advice, good Mexican food. Get a room with a balcony and sit over the pool drinking a beer, that's what... More

So the room was ok, nothing to get excited about. It had a little fridge and two queen beds. The bathroom was very dated and the mattresses sagged a bit. But to be right on Hollywood and to have a pool, at an affordable price? I would go back. Parking is a little tight, but we always managed to find... More

So... Hollywood is not exotic or pretty and motels look grim but this one is great, friendly very helpful on reception, I think they own it! Pool is very clean although did not use, rained a bit and too busy sight seeing. Room 19, great, balcony, very comfy beds, clean, quiet, defo recommend, Hollywood is a great place to stay... More

Spent 3 nights here and the closeness to the 101 proved great. I think our room was upgraded as it had more facilities than we expected with a full kitchen instead of a kitchenette. Breakfast in the House of Tacos was unique with a few spicy options although the guy running breakfast was not keeping up with lots of stuff... More

What others have written pretty much describes it. We had a downstairs room with wood floors, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The towels were a bit scratchy and the were no facial tissues, but there was adequate toilet paper. There was a wall mirrored cabinet in the bathroom so one could put away a few toiletries. Still we... More

after reading reviews in here, I thought this hotel wasn't going to be so bad. I was wrong. See, I'm not sure if these people reviewing know what you should expect from a hotel. This was more of a hostel. The only difference was that you had a bathroom. Granted that the bathroom was poor lighting, old rags as towels,... More

We stayed here for a few nights this past summer. I loved the looks of it from the photos! While it's not super close to the main attractions of Hollywood by foot, it's super-close by car. You can walk it no problem, but it's a bit of a hike. So I wouldn't recommend walking it with a big family or... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
