The room was very, very small. The sink was literally right in front of the bed. The bathroom was also quite tiny. I was afraid to take a shower because the bottom of it was pretty gross. The bed was uncomfortable. I didn't get very much sleep because I could hear people coming in and out of their rooms. The... more

The rooms are small and tight with little clearance between furniture and walls. The bed in this hotel was so bad that when I sat down on the edge of it when I first came in, the thin mattress flipped straight up and caused me to crash into the wall, breaking my glasses and spraining my arm. Sleeping in it... more

This hotel is horrifying! The front entrance is gorgeous but the rest is crap. The guy at the front desk was high and drunk. And he told us this after he took thirty minutes to check us in. The elevator was about to drop in a second! The room is tiny-its smaller then a dorm room. The mattress had mold... more

This hotel was built in the 30's and has SMALL rooms (we expected this). The room we stayed in was on the 9th. floor. The loo and shower were fine but SMALL. Air-con unit worked just about. The elevators are old but work well. Check-in was quick and staff OK. No fridge but ice machine in hallway. Buffet breakfast (included)... more

I was a little worried about some reviews i read before my travel. First let me say i went to L.A. for a little vacations and E4All videogame's convention. So i was looking for a place to stay and where i'd be able to move easily all around downtown L.A. and some other near places. If you are looking for... more

Arg! I'm here right now and awake on the internet because I'm too nervous to sleep. So far I've squashed at least 6 very-well-fed little ticks that have been crawling across the sheets - and this was the first thing I saw when I entered the room and sat on the (very old,hard-sprung) bed. Haven't we got things that can... more

As the 2 out of 5 rating indicates, my stay was okay, but had some problems. The place is definitely old, the plaster on the ceiling of our room had apparently shrunk so much over the years that the crown molding was floating about two inches below it. That's not so severe a sin, of course, but it isn't attractive.... more

A few weeks before I arrived, I called to ensure that my reservation was accurate. At that time, the person I spoke with was very polite and helpfull. I was surprised because of the reviews I had read concerning staff unfriendliness. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff was eager to answer my plethora of questions concerning directions and... more

The hotel was not as bad as reviewed. The lobby needs to be redone and the elevators may or may not take you to your floor, but we stayed on the 3rd floor and had a very big room. We had a king size bed, a full bath (with a second vanity area), and a nice sitting area. The room... more

After reading all the reviews I was apprehensive in booking this hotel but since I was only staying one night and the location is convenient to what I had to do, I thought I would grin and bear the "bad" conditions described by past guests. To my surprise, 3rd floor was big, no kidding, with good size bathroom and very... more
