Nothing like being surrounded in the stench of weed smoke and constant noise for an entire night and morning. Not asking for much staying at a motel but really? Can I at least get to sleep without having Johnny Cowboy Boots yelling outside of my door for 45 minutes at 5am and it smelling like Snoop Dog had an album... More

This is atleast my 3-4 time staying here without issue. The motel had finished it long long makeover and the rooms are better than ever. You are literally 2 blocks north of the world famous hollywood blvd. plenty of food & drink options in walking distance to go along w malls, tourist traps lol. The neighborhood itself is very nice,... More

A Nicer Motel 6. Wood Floors, Different Furnishings, RAISED bathroom sink. Orange walls. Almost like a prison, doors slamming, loud voices, sexual noises. (What would I say to the children?) And THE RUDEST most nasty men attendants. I have not seen an uptight angry unhappy jerk like this, in a long time. The one on the day, an incompetant fool.... More

We booked this online in the morning. Reviews were up and down but seemed generally favourable. As everyone has said its not free parking but we didnt have to pay cash, it was taken off my card when I paid for the room. Didnt mind as it was underground and we paid $6.00 to park in a church car park... More

Just be careful there. They try to sell Citytours there and request a deposit in cash (no credit card!!). Asking 20$/person. So, no receipt there. Just walk to the boulevard (5min) and there are many who sell citytours for 25$/person. They also charge extra for parking (12$ in cash only). I think the front desk wants to make some extra... The hotel is basically on Hollywood Blvd, so we could not ask for something better. If you cannot spend lot of money and you want to stay in a good spot it is the perfect place. We looked for an hotel also in the neighborhood and I really felt unsafe, but here it was okay. You know, in the street... More

The location of the hotel is great, really close to the walk of fame and some restaurants and bars. The staff wasn't really polite and it cost 12 dollars every night for parking (and the parking lot wasn't so close to the hotel). The elevator was broken so we had to climb 4 floors at the night that we arrived... More

For the price you pay for a room, this and any motel 6 is a good deal. This hotel is upgraded with the new motel 6 look and is quite clean. There is good quality wifi, cable TV and even a mini fridge to store snacks. The only issue is the parking. It's $12 a night and not always guaranteed... More

This hotel has its ups and downs. I'll start with the positives. You simply can't get any closer to the Chinese Theatre/Walk of Fame tourist hotspot... it's about 2 minutes walk to Hollywood Blvd (Walk of Fame), and another 5 minutes walk to the Chinese Theatre where you'll find everything you need including a Metro station with 5 minute trains... Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
