we came all the way from australia to see disneyland. Our first few days were in hollywood. What a dirty trashy place! The hotel ok but nothing to write home about. Stayed in much better for alot less money in australia. Smallish room and bathroom. Had the sight of hollywood sign but so what. The whole complex was nice however... more

This hotel is in the perfect location (taxi from lax will cost between 50-80 dollars depending on traffic). Hotel is right on hollywood boulevard and next to the kodak and chinese theatres.Opposite and down the road about 300m is ripleys believe it or not and hollwoods guiness book of records. The hotel is also joined to a shopping centre called... more

My son and I traveled together and wanted to be in the center of Hollywood even though we are not really big celebrity watchers. This really fit the bill. All of the sights of Hollywood are right outside the hotel, and many big name celebrities frequent this hotel. With a little prodding, we could have stayed much longer. The pool... more

Spent 1 night here in May 2009. Hotel Connects with Graumans Theater and a small mall type shopping area and is also adjacent to the Hollywood Walk of fame and the Kodak theater. I tend to always stay with Marriott as I am never displeased. The rooms are nice, typical Marriott setup but as always clean and comfortable. Valet is... more

I LOVED THIS HOTEL! From the moment we walked in, I knew it would be great. The valet was friendly and nice, our bags were taken care of right away, and the bellhop gave us a tour and explained about the area and hotel all the way into the room. The view of the city and pool was amazing and... more

I am in my mid 40s, own my own business, and travel mainly to Los Angeles and other cities several times a year. I have found through my experiences that you can't go wrong with the Marriott brand. They certainly don't fall into the low-budget category and they are probably far from the top tier hotels. However, I find when... more

We booked a room here and knew about the price, but we paid for the location. You are in a perfect setting, close to all the night life and shopping. When we arrived the hotel staff was very courtesy, assisting us with luggage and even asking my husband if they could get him a drink. We got to our room... more

My trip to LA was for a conference but I was joined by my wife for the last couple of days and I needed somewhere that suited both a business and tourist itinerary, The really good thing that I would say is that the location is excellent for the buzz of Hollywood. If you stay in Downtown areas they can... more

This hotel is great, it is expensive, but worth it. The hotel is in a fantastic location with many bars and shops in the complex. I would definately recommend paying extra to stay here as it is the best hotel in hollywood more
