We stayed Dec. 30-31, 2011 in two rooms, one containing my wife and myself, the other our daughter, her husband and their two year old son. We took two adjoining executive rooms (bedroom and front room with kitchen essentials). It was perfect. First, we booked the rooms only days before and were trying to save by booking one exec room... Coming off the back-end of two very long flights, we decided to break up our journey in Beverly Hills (for a variety of reasons, including the ever-popular "let's walk up and down Rodeo Drive experience"). A friend recommended the Plaza. It was a great choice. It's a unique hotel, situated around a courtyard with swimming pool. We asked for a... More

The staff are good at doing nothing... I think maybe daddy owns the hotel? The was one bell man who was helpful! When we arrive we turned up in a taxi as our flight had been delayed and a second town car wasn't organised... this meant we weren't acknowledged and i had to ask two people to help with our... More

The hotel has very special design, capturing beautiful flowers and waterfall inside. Located 5 min drive from Rodeo street, it's very close to the shopping district as well as Santa Monica beach. It's a great stay, room decor was a bit out of date but great value for money for the location! would be great if you have a car... More

We chose this hotel for its great location and the fact that it had suites and kitchens. There is also a pool and a gym. In fact, we had a lovely apartment, on the pool side, with a double bedroom and a rollaway bed for my son (Mum & two teenagers). The staff were very helpful; the restaurant, which we... More

I first stayed at this hotel in May of 2010 after hearing that this was the place that the late actor Freddie Prinze ( was a big fan of "Chico and the Man") spent his last day/nights here. Yes, for this was the place where Freddie Prinze committed suicide in January of 1977. Well, even weirder, upon checking into this... More

we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and first impression not good as staff very unfriendly!! only one who smiled was the doorman! we were given a room in the old wing. Clean but very small and would only recommend the rooms overlooking the pool area. good location for public transport.

I have been staying at this hotel for almost 15 years, several times a year. It is beautifully located on Wilshire and Comstock, just a very short drive into Beverly Hills for dinner, or to Brentwood to visit friends. We always stay in a deluxe one bedroom suite or 2 bedroom 2 bath suite, and by suite, I can attest... More

Stayed for a week after completing the Route 66 trip from Chicago. This appears to be a very well refurbed former motel. It has a classy lobby and helpful staff. The pool is very good and loungers are plentiful ( a bit grubby and neglected, but newish). The room was spacious, we were expecting a sofa bed and were offered... More

Great hotel, convenient location to Hollywood, downtown LA, Rodeo shopping, the beaches, and Beverly Hills. Internet and parking are extra, $20 for wifi and $28 for parking, both are per night. Nice, clean room. The swimming pool and hot tub was really nice, they also had cool chairs to lounge on by the pool. All rooms come with either a... More
