We booked this room at this ghetto hotel because it is close by Universal Studios, what a dissappointment when we walked in to a room where you can smell carpet deoderant or some kind of funky aroma. the carpet that looks old and, dirty there was a big spider web on ceiling. Tendant mentioned to my husband when checking in... more

We ordered our room online so when we arrived we would not have any problem. Yea, right. With confirmation in hand we arrived the rude lady behind the desk stated that they did not deal priceline and we need to pay in full the three days we reserved. I called the priceline and they stated that they paid the hotel.... more

My wife and I needed time away from home so we decided to take a spur of the moment weekend down in LA. I grew up there so i am familiar with the area. We settled for this hotel after spending a couple of hours of going around to several hotels in Studio City and in Hollywood. All were either... more

The bedroom was small and spartan in its furnishing, but clean sheets and towels were supplied. The walls appeared to have been re-painted recently and there were other signs of recent renovation. However, the carpet that had seen better days was a let-down. A slight musty smell (from the carpet?) that was detected upon entering the room cleared up after... more

If you want location this is the one. If you want to sleep comfortable take your ninety dollars elsewere. your better off sleeping in your car than in this filthy, dark, smelly, old hotel. I could handle the lady receptionist being extreamly rude, by not giving us at least one extra pillow, and extra towels. But i could not handle... more

When we got there we had asked for a room that was non smoking. Well it stunk so bad like smoke that my son almost had an asthma attack. I went to complain and all they said was it was non smoking and that they could not refund our money. The carpet look like it was drenched in cooking oil.... more

I have never ever written a review in my life but felt compelled to put something down to save you all from this hell hole. Trust me this place is the worst on the planet and I have stayed in some grotty hotels. Once checked in we noticed that all the curtains were closed and the room was in darkness.... more

Got the place through the SWA website as the closest to Universal Studios. We checked in room 122 and noticed that the very old and dirty carpet has not been even vacuumed (looked like crumbs left over). The towels in the bathrooms had stains, yellow and reddish that seems were left over from the wash. The spredsheet/blanket were smelly. The... more

The Property is definitely not the hilton, but we have a clean bill of health all furniture, fixture 7 Capeting is newer. The only problem we faced was bed bugs that were brought in by other travelers in a few rooms and we have replaced everything in these rooms and also speent a fortune to fumigate them. It is unjust...

I stayed at this hotel after being forced to after driving for hours in the middle of the night looking for a room. The hotel itself is old, decrepit and dirty. The parking lot was tiny and hard to manuver in. The room, which we upgraded to a jacuzzi tub, looked like it hadnt been thoroughly cleaned since the 70's... more
