Loved this hotel! I would consider it a boutique hotel. The staff was accommodating and the restaurant within the hotel was great! You definitely want to dine at the restaurant and it is called Cleo. Cleo has become a top restaurant so make sure you ask your consigner to book you a table. Of course, it always helps when you... More

We stayed there for my friends birthday and it did not disappoint. The location is prime and your close to everything. We even walked to the W for pre dinner drinks, it's that close. We then had dinner downstairs at Cleo's, that was pricey but delicious. We really enjoyed the falafel balls. The chicken kabob were amazing too! I suggest... More

Loved this gem of a boutique hotel. Right in the heart of Hollywood. The room is called a flat and was very much designed like one. Very interesting furniture and accompaniment choices in design. A bit noisy on a Saturday night as you'd expect but all part of the vibe. Even a few celebs hanging about. Will return for sure.... More

Rooms are over 700 sqft. with a very comfortable king size bed. The walk in shower is big enough for 3. no tub though but there is a... More

My favorite property in LA! Wonderful service! Super clean. Cozy and hip. Nostalgic design. Next to favorite landmark Capitol Records. Cleo Restaurant rocks. Cool bar/lounge scene. Very fair prices. Rooms are so spacious and have tons of functional features. A winner of a boutique property.

I stayed here for just one night but loved the junior suite they allotted me. It's different from regular hotels and is well decorated and tastefully placed items all over the room is the attractive feature of rooms in this hotel which make it so different from other places. The food in the Mediterranean restaurant inThe hotel is to die... More

Love this hotel , will always stay here when i can, location fantastic, Rooms are just epic, shame there's no pool and the bar/club is noisy if you are overlooking it and the washer/dryers have been removed. No real complaints though

The rooms are large. The beds are comfy. The a/c works well. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a glitch at check-in: we had reserved a larger suite with a foldout sofa bed, and the front desk promised to send someone up right away to make up the sofa bed. After more than an hour, we called the... More

I visited a lady friend in Los Angeles last weekend and she recommended that I stay at The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine. It was a great choice. It is centrally located to a lot of shopping and restaurants. I'm not big on Hollywood trivia and memorabilia, but there are a lot of attractions like that in the area. The... More

It started with a pleasant valet, very friendly and welcoming staff at the reception and a bellman who nicely explained how to operate the record player in the room. The room was huge, beautifully decorated, had a nice kitchen, well-stocked mini-bar/fridge, Wi-Fi worked reliably and fast, view from balcony was great (Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory). Here comes the really... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
