Let me set the review stage, born in Hollywood & live just 15 miles away & was looking for a family mini vacation to see the sights of my original home town. Called the hotel directly and spoke with "Jenna", very polite & professional. Question 1: I see you have underground parking, & I drive 4wd Toyota Tacoma will I... More

2nd stay, great location, great restaurant, great bar, good people watching, etc. the real reason I'm writing this review: I left my wallet in a cab, in a jumbled rush during a work trip. Matt Baker (Redbury employee) sourced the cab company, cab number and part time driver using good old fashioned Matlock techniques. He drove to the cab company... More

Awesome place to stay...though I wouldn't recommend it for those that are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. It was an awesome spot and our room walked right into the patio of the Library. Food was awesome and was so convenient for when you wanted to stay out and party a bit! The room was so cool (Sunset Suite) and... More

Well AdvisingYourTrip, you'll be surprised to know, that we have many quiet rooms on property. If you think your room was spacious, wait until you see our Hollywood suites, our quietest room type and even larger than the Sunset Suite, measuring 850 sq. feet. We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. Don't be fooled by our security... More

I loved how large and spacious the rooms were. With a family of four it was nice having 2 separate tvs as well. Every single staff member went above and beyond to help make us feel welcome down to the housekeeping staff. Loved this place! The only negative is the breakfast menu didn't have much and with a picky child... More

Like I could just about live here. This hotel is cute and elegant at the same time. Just around the corner from the Pantages Theater makes it a great location for your trip to the city for a play or other Hollywood attractions. If you want to spend a few days the amenities are all available for a relaxing place... More

Why don't you TravelingSister75? We would love it if you did move in!! All our suites are perfect for longterm stays, all equipped with kitchenettes. And with our Eastern-Mediterranean restaurant Cleo downstairs and Katsuya delivery, why even leave your apartment-sized room? The Redbury is conveniently located to many attractions in Hollywood and across the street from public transportation to anywhere... More

We like the rooms! But we asked for a quiet room and the front desk put us on floor 3 above the courtyard, which is also the Library bar and the loudest place on earth on the weekend. Why didn't they put us on the other side? If it were not for that, I'd give this hotel a 5, it's... More

Dear Stacey L, Thank you for your valuable feedback and I am delighted that you really liked our oversized suites and the the hotel. While we have outfitted the entire hotel with soundproofing and even installed an acoustic seal on all patio doors to keep the hustle and bustle of Hollywood in Hollywood, at times the noise can still sneak... Stayed with my daughter and grandson for a quick stay in Hollywood. The location was perfect which was the reason we originally picked the hotel. However to our surprise when we opened the door to our room we were delighted with the uniqueness of the room, decor and feel for our short get-a-way. Loved it and wished we were staying... More

This is a hidden gem right at Hollywood and Vine! I found a great deal online for a suite and my heart almost stopped when I walked in the door! Our sunset suite was 800 square feet with funky but comfortable furniture. We loved all of the cool touches like the record player, crystal decanters and the coziest hotel robes... More

This was the perfect location for my wife and I to take our daughter on a West Coast trip before college. It was a great spot, accommodating staff, fantastic suite. Don't miss dinner at Cleo, a highlight of our vacation. Highly recommended.

Karl W, we are so thrilled you loved your stay with us. We certainly enjoyed having you with us and can't wait to welcome you back in the near future! Hopefully you were able to have drinks in the Library as well. Our cocktail program features beautifully handcrafted cocktails, enjoyed by both college students and aging hipsters alike! It's taken me forever to get around to writing this review as we stayed in the Redbury in January 2014, but it's one of my favorite hotels ever. Mostly this is because of the design of the rooms. I hate typical boring "business" type hotel rooms, and I love unusual, trendy, funky hotel rooms. So the Redbury was a perfect... More

Dear katri0na, We don't mind that you didn't get around to writing your fantastic review of the Redbury until, now, but we are sad that you haven't been here since your trip in January 2014. We recommend you plan more trips to Los Angeles, so that we get to see you more often! Since you were here last we have... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
