This Hotel is Fabulous! From the old Hollywood decor, the amazing room & the friendly staff, the Redbury made our stay a fabulous one! We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff who upgraded our Room to a Suite which was wonderful cause we were celebrating our Anniversary! They would check in to make sure everything was ok which in... More

Do you like dealing with courteous people? Do you enjoy getting your accommodations in a timely manner? Do you like sleeping soundly? Then, guess what? The Redbury IS NOT for you! What a tumble this hotel has taken! The staff is now hipper-than-thou L.A. jerks who would rather give you excuses, or a cold shoulder, than give you any help.... More

Dear Matt G, Thank you for this review. The experience you outlined certainly does not describe the experience we pride ourselves on providing; however, there are a few missing details that are important. While it is true that we did not have a room available when you arrive roughly two hours before our check-in time, you were immediately offered a... More

I cannot say enough good things about staying at the Redbury! The room was superb, really different and fun. Everybody could not have been nicer and more considerate. Breakfast was perfect, room service even in the middle of the night was right there. And car service was a real plus plus. Will be back for sure!

Hotel & Disco don't mix. They brought me ear plugs. No help for the bass. Sleeping on a pullout couch....no thank you. I was in room 304 on Saturday night. Tv didn't work when I got to the room. I had a $2.00 pillow.

Dear xxjanicexx2014, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your time at our hotel. Unfortunately, when three adults reserve a room with one king-sized bed and a queen sized sofa bed, one of them typically sleeps on the pullout couch. Those sofa beds are brand new and pretty darn comfortable. I would love to hear more about your experience and... More

Overall a great experience. We stayed in a Vine Flat on the 5th floor that overlooked the outdoor bar/lounge area, but had no problems with noise (probably because it was a Monday night). In fact, the room was really quiet overall despite being near a major intersection (Hollywood & Vine). The flat was huge and having a kitchen was an... More

The trendy boutique Redbury Hollywood has enormous, comfortable -if slightly dark- rooms; originally intended to be apartments, each room has a modern kitchen, a large and comfortable living room, fourposter beds, a large step-in shower, and a small terrace - most looking out over the interior lounge/ courtyard (quiet on weeknights, though I imagine it's more populated and therefore noisy... Dear MarcDavid, Thank you for your great review of The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine. You are correct that the building was originally intended to be condos when it was constructed in 2009, but it has only ever been The Redbury. It’s great because every one of our rooms is a suite and you, literally, get your own luxury apartment... More

Was in town for the Classic Rock Awards next door at the Avalon. This was my first stay at The Redbury. Stayed on 5th floor room 509 (one of the Highland, Sunset and Vine Suites; all rooms here are suites) which was really large and comfortable: kitchen with small fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove, large living room, sleeping area with a... I travel to LA once a month for a week for work and have stayed at a dozen different hotels. When I stumbled upon The Redbury, my search was over. More people know Cleo, the restaurant below the hotel, than know of the hotel itself -- trust me, this is a good thing. The rooms are huge with a cool... More

This is a hard review to write. On the one hand, The Redbury is certainly different and quirky in a good way. The rooms are very carefully decorated and very spacious (we had a two bedroom studio with an immense living room). The overall feel of the hotel is definitely edgy and interesting. The turntable in the room is a... More

Dear sikorskd, Thank you for sharing your experiences at The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine! We appreciate you kind words the size and décor of our rooms. Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
