This hotel is exactly what you think it is, so if you like glitzy lobbies, pretty people and overpriced rooms it is for you. It does have the best rooftop pool I've ever been to with mediocre food. Also, hope you like to show off how much money you're willing to spend cuz the pool area is a pay to... More

Immaculately presented hotel, very modern and close to walk of fame, Dolby Theater etc. Comfortable rooms, good onsite bars and restaurants, very helpful staff. The lobby is stunning with its magnificent staircase and great bar area.

Happening Hotel. If you are looking for a quiet getaway or working on your PowerPoint - look elsewhere. This is the hotel to see and be seen. Trendy Hotel with luxury amenities. Not recommended for families. Beds are lower than most hotels - but I had booked the "Fabulous" room category (which is their highest) and while the room was... More

This hotel is in a perfect location across the street from the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Its a high-quality facility with first class accommodations and staff, meeting rooms and an attached restaurant, Delphine. There are many other dining options within walking distance. Concierge service is super - whatever your question, they can help you. This is not a family facility... More

Hi David, It sounds like you know how to enjoy yourself. What better place than our hotel! I completely agree with your assessment - We are not a family friendly hotel. The lively atmosphere provides the perfect way to wind down after a long work day, or wind it up for an exciting evening out. Like you said, out Insiders... More

We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days, must say the location is great if you want to go around Hollywood blvd and sunset, but even if you plan to go further the subway station is just a step outside the door of the hotel. The room was nice, clean and simple, a plus is the bathroom amenities being... More

We had 4 rooms booked. I will say that the hotel is beautiful and trendy. Each room was very nice, clean and comfy. The disappointment came when we went up to the pool. There were children in our group and the pool area had several scantily clad women lounging around the pool. Not really fit for a12 year old. Secondly... More

Hi Brandyann, Thanks for sharing your experience. We are a very lively and, in most cases, an adult hotel. While we always do whatever we can to make our guests feel at home, not all instances can be controlled. We offer complimentary coffee now in our newly opened coffee bar, Brew. Guest are invited to enjoy drip Vittoria Coffee, or... More

This hotel is located one block away from the corner of Hollywood Blvd & Vine but don’t ask me why this is a well-known corner. I just hear a lot of mention to it. It sits on top of an LA subway station & Starbucks is on the same block. I liked: -The area for valet-only parking pick-up & drop-off.... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
