We were pleasantly surprised to arrive at John and Lucy's to be shown our fully self-contained apartment/unit out the back of their place, perfectly situated between Santa Monica and Melrose in West Hollywood. A quick champagne on the rooftop with 360 views of the Hollywood Hills and the iconic Hollywood sign, then it was off to explore the many shops and restaurants close by in funky WeHo. John and Lucy were the perfect hosts and we even scored a guided tour in the back of John's 1972 Chevy Impala (convertible of course), which was a highlight of our time in LA!
