Had a great weekend at Venice beach. The beach is a frenetic place but Paloma suites was an oasis of calm in the midst of it! European styling (clean lines, lots of white), very comfy beds made for a relaxing stay. Very well appointed, and remarkably quiet given the location. I would definitely recommend, and return!

Good location close to everything we didn't use a car the whole time we were there. A 20 min walk to Santa monica with plenty to see along the way. Venice is fun but the restaurants were poor and the shopping mostly low value. Loved the vibe in Santa monica where we spent most of our time. Manager of the... More

Unfortunately, we only had one night here and it was not a good beach day - a little cool and cloudy. As for the suite, it was certainly adequate. The two bedrooms were small, kitchen was well equipped and full sized, living room area turned into a bed the 2 or 3 could sleep on. This was a good location... More

2 friends and I stayed in apartment 104 where everything was provided for us to have a fairly self-sufficient stay (ie. Everything we needed in the kitchen), great location and the information booklet at hand covered all eventualities. The only downside was the parking location which was about 500 metres away down the road in a public building which was... More

Our family of four (including teenage children) stayed at the Paloma Venice Beach Apartments for four nights in early December. As has been mentioned by others, the position of the apartments is excellent – we had stayed in Hollywood previously and needed to be further out – being closer to Venice and Santa Monica (with our hire car) was excellent.... I stayed here with family and my girlfriend. We stayed in the lower ground floor apartment to the rear of the property which was ideal for our party. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we could have asked for for our stay. We was perticularly impressed with the gas bbq outside on the decking area and made... More

This is a good spot to enjoy Venice and LA. It's a couple blocks off the beach, so a little quieter than places right in the middle of the beach hubbub, but so close that you can get to the beach in a couple minutes' stroll. It's also very convenient to LAX, downtown Santa Monica, and freeways. Our family of... More

We had a fabulous stay at Venice Paloma Suites! The place was modern, clean, & comfortable for our family of 5. The location was perfect as we were able to enjoy & explore colorful Venice as well as neighboring Santa Monica. We felt very safe & it was nice to be able to park our car in a secure garage... I have to say, the Paloma Suites is now our favorite place in Venice. The staff is friendly and fun with all of the laidback surfer charm that Venice brings. We loved having great restaurants so close - loved the figtree cafe. When we arrived - Randy turned us on to the rooftop deck, which was an amazing place to... More

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
