We loved it! Our 2 kids (aged 5 and 10) and us stayed 2 nights here. The room was spacious (a little apartment, really), nicely decorated, and clean. No noise, and a beautiful view on the beach - despite being listed as a "partial view" room. Oh, and the rooftop access... A great place to be!

Management is HORRIBLE! Read the fine print as they advertise that they offer free cancelations. THIS IS NOT TRUE! It's only free if you cancel 10 days prior to your trip. They falsely advertise this on all search engines and the manager even admitted that when people "like me" call to try to get my money back, she never bends.... More

I loved the charm and location of this little gem. The "loft" style was very hip, but it was also clean, functional and surprisingly spacious. Meeting fellow travelers on the roof top deck was a bonus. The only downside was lack of parking and some of the furnishings in the room had seen better days.

This Hotel was exactly as advertised...its basically a small apartment with all the amenities for a long or short stay. A full kitchen allows you the flexibility to cut costs and prepare your own meals along with a roof top patio complete with BBQ. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is located right on the... More

Great location on the boardwalk across the beach. The room was cosy with a self contained kitchen, good shower and roof top BBQ area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Best suited to couples. Late nights you do see many homeless, but there is no concern for safety. One negative - public transport is not great from this area.

The Venice Breeze Suites are located right on Venice beach. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and the room was super cute and clean. I accidentally booked the handicap room which put me on the first floor . I would have preferred to be higher up because I know that Venice can get noisy at night. It was surprisingly... More

We think that Venice Breezes needs some improves about the cleanliness, the windows were dirty and we have spent 4 nights without any room service (not cleaning the room during more than 2 days, it is not reasonable!) The location scares, too much drug and poverty .. Also if you have a rented car you have no free parking, it... More

Eclectic neighborhood. Great location to base your exploration of LA or just hang out on the beach. Rooms were spacious and modern. Staff very helpful. Although this is more a rental property not a full service hotel

Absolutely loved Venice Breeze Suites and would go back again in a heart beat! Our stay was for 6 days, by the end of the first night the suite felt as if was our OWN. It's comfy cozy with a hip atmosphere. Venice Beach is a happening place and the roof top deck lets you enjoy the best views of... More

Room was OK. Double bed + sofa that also turned into a double bed. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Perfect for a couple + 2 kids. Great view. Front desk employers were superhelpful and always willing to help. Oceanfront rooms can be a little bit noisy, but fortunately mine was located in the back, with a side view to... More

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
