Stayed on recent business trip to LA. Like the idea, they re-did a crappy motel into a boutique hotel, along the lines of the Standard Hotel. Theme is vaguely rustic farmer, probably as a nod to the long-running farmer's market across the street. Very cute design, great central courtyard was a very nice place to hang out. Execution was uneven.... More

Myself and my wife stayed here for 5 nights as part of our California honeymoon adventure in July. The hotel provided the perfect location to explore LA from and the close proximity to the Farmers Market meant that there are countless doorstep restaurants for foodies to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotels own Tart restaurant serves up... More

Nice hotel and staff. Rooms are super cute. The restaurant has bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's. Definitely would stay there again!! Everyone that worked there was helpful and friendly. The hotel was quiet and clean. Walking distance to shops, farmer's market, and restaurants.

Everything about this place is unique & fun, and we were so impressed by the cleanliness throughout. They thought of every detail in the redesign--so great! All of the staff was so friendly & helpful, and I loved having my cappuccino outside in the morning (& also loved the outdoor area with the string lights in the evening). Also, the... More

I'm typically a Marriott or Hiton girl, and was nervous when my colleague suggested this hotel. I shouldn't have been. It's quirky, laid back, and fun. We've all heard of wine hour, but here you have Whiskey Hour! This hotel is conveniently located in West LA, across the street from the Farmers Market, the Grove shopping and CBS studios...The Price... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in June. When I stay in a hotel I want it to be as nice or nicer than my home but I did not feel this was the case at the farmers daughter in L.A.. It looks like a craft project gone wrong. It really isn't luxurious as it is an old... More

On my third trip to the States (from New Zealand) this is by far the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at while in LA!! So much charm and character, the detailing is perfect. As soon as you walk in to the reception area there is a little collection of vintage clothes, jewellery and shoes that catch your eye and they... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't have been happier (well apart from spotty internet in our room, still not sure why that was) with our stay. We were coming to LA for our anniversary and to see the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson before he departs the airways - this hotel was a great... More

I absolutely adored this hotel! We had just spent 3 nights in one of LA's 'fancy' hotels, but the Farmer's Daughter was such a lovely change! The hotel is full of quirky discoveries. Sure, the rooms are small as it's basically just a converted old motel but there's so much to be impressed about. There's so much attention to detail... More

I absolutely loved this place. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I had a great experience here and I highly recommend it. The staff helped us with suggestions and were incredibly kind. My partner didn't fly out until midnight and they let us just leave our luggage with then while we enjoyed the last... More
