Fabulous quirk hotel in West Hollywood. Clean rooms. Friendly service. Directly across road from The Grove (shopping centre) and The Farmers Market. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner from Farmers Market. Great variety of cuisines. Close to bus stop. Would stay here again.

This was a huge surprise. We were expecting a very ordinary hotel but instead it was bright, happy and very quirky. We were greeted by staff dressed in denim and gingham, pigtails and freckles also braces on their pants. A bird in the foyer along with cookies and lemonade. Our room was excellent, the same quirky style. A king bed,... More

We stood here for 3/4 days in August. We managed to take the bus to little Tokyo and Venice beach . Pool is small and super cold that's the only reason for four star rating. Staff is super friendly , from five to six pm free drinks at the reception

As noted in the comments, not everyone is cut out for city hotels, quirky decor and "whiskey hour." We found all of this (and the excellent location) to be perfect for our style. Yes, the rooms are a little minimalist, and the "motel" shows through a bit but the service was great, our room (305 in main structure) was very... More

Not a hotel (despite what is being advertised) but a "spruced-up" motel - and, frankly, a motel that is in need of a further "sprucing-up". We had breakfast in the "hotel" restaurant the first two mornings during our four-day stay, and then stopped because the service was so slow (incidentally, when the menu expressly advertises "maple syrup", you do not... We've never been in such a friendly hotel. Every member of staff went that extra mile either by suggesting places we may like to see, or just asking if we'd had a nice day. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. Our room, 310 overlooked the Hollywood sign which was a bonus. We ate breakfast and an evening meal at TART,... More

Great vibe, excellent location, close to the Farmers Market, Grove shopping centre and cool West Hollywood shops. Really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms simple but very comfortable. Free crisps and cookies in Reception and free wifi that extended to rooms. Buzzy bar and restaurant. Only downside is the pool, too small to swim in and sunbathe around.

If you plan on staying near The Grove, this is a great choice. The hotel has a relaxed, fun environment that can help a traveler forgot all the stresses he/she has dealt with during the day. You will be greeted with a delicious chocolate chip cookie and juice. They also have daily whiskey tasting events at 5 PM every day.... More

Like some other reviewers, we weren't quite sure about this hotel from its website and location. When another hotel didn't work out, we ended up staying here for several nights because we liked it so much and we appreciated the friendly staff. This is a great location, in many ways, for touring around LA. It is across from the Farmer's... More
