We saw this place on Booking.com, and it's awesome! It was about $80 a night, really close to Hollywood, and it had spacious rooms and a great parking, for which you had to pay $10 for, though. But I just don't get why people are complaining, my advice would be: Go check it out, and I guarantee you, you'll enjoy... More

This place was nasty. Stayed one night...I slept with my clothes and jacket on because the room was so sketchy. We were supposed to stay two nights... Left one night early and was not issued a refund. This place is a dump; and overpriced. Stay away.

I stayed here for 3 days. It was confortable to stay here. This motel is located very useful place. You can access main hollywood load soon, and also train station is near here. The price is not so high to stay so I suggest this motel when you visit Hollywood.

Rooms were as clean as they could be. Can't remember if there were plastic sheets covers on the bed, or we JOKED about needing plastic sheet covers for the bed. Didn't want to put anything on the floor. So, let me talk about the bad: *Toilet clogged, had to find manager, to give ME the plunger to fix...and it was... More

If you are looking for a cheap option to know hollywood, guest inn is a great choice. It is very close walking of fame and hollywood highland. And there are options around to eat and drink. Tip: take a shuttle (book early) to move either from LAX or to LAX.

We stayed in there for three days. Me and three other friends. Everything was walking distance. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Helped us out with restaurants, pubs, clubs and other attractions. Room was clean and they cleaned it every day. Front desk was open 24/7, which was very helpful. All we had to do was leave the car in... More

We chose this for our stay because of the central location in Hollywood - it's literally a 5 minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, CNN building and many other attractions. The guest inn itself is cheap and cheerful - spacious rooms with the essentials. There is also an ATM, vending machine and Ice machine. Overall the staff were... More

We checked in saw and smelled the room and promptly left. Honestly, this is the worst hotel experience of my life. Prostitutes right out front as well as in front of the rooms. Pimps hang around out front as well. And that's not even the worst part. The rooms are disgusting. Ours smelled like someone threw a bottle of bleach... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
