The place has a great location and the staff was friendly aswell as the other guests. But it's a really simple hostel. You almost get what you pay for. There is other hostel nearby... But this one is the cheapest. If you need a cheap place this is OK. If you can spend more money - go somewhere else :-P

This hostel is disgusting and is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The manager Peter is rude, abrupt and constantly made uncalled for and arrogant jokes where he mocked me and made me feel uncomfortable. He was also too busy socialising to check everybody in promptly and it took me 2 hours before I got into my room. He... More

We stayed in a 6 person female dorm. It took us 2 hours to check in while the manager Peter chatted to his colleagues about random stuff instead of checking everyone in. There are signs EVERYWHERE from telling u when to shower (literally a sign saying you must shower daily), when to do washing, saying there's no hot water between... More

The hostel is in an excellent location and has easy access to everything that LA has to offer. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, the Internet connection was good most of the time. However at night the noise from the street could get a little loud however this didn't bother me. Overall a great experience that I'd recommend... More

This hostel is located in the most ideal spot. You are a stones throwing distance from lots of great attractions in hollywood. The staff are great and always happy to hlep you out, whether you want to know somewhere good to eat or you want to know how to get to the airport. There is also a party aspect to... More

The location is simply awesome ..can't get any better. The staff was friendly & helpful. Its definitely worth the money. My room was basic but had great views of the Hollywood Boulevard. There's non-stop action going down on the street ..which bothered some at night, but didn't mind me at all. The cons are that there's no air conditioning &... More

Well, the place is dirty and smells awful. It was hard to breathe in the room, it had sort of a window but it wasn't a window with the view on the street or sth (it was some space inside the building... weird). The location is great but not entirely, I mean it's a great spot as far as Hollywood... More

Also, cool, down to earth atmosphere, and very helpful stuff! It needs some fixing, more cleaning, and probably also re-decorating--but seriously, stop complaing people, if you decided on cheap hostel don't expect it to be a five star hotel! And YES, it is noisy, but again, you are staying in the middle of Hollywood, not a cabin hidden deep in... More

Needs to be fixed up. They need to redecorate and please for the love of God put air con in the rooms.. this place at night was soooo hot... With no curtain to block the football field and park flood lights into your room. We actually asked for a bed sheets to use on the window. The staff were very... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
