Let us be clear on one thing, for the price you are paying, don't expect a 5 star experience. It's in a great location. You get breakfast and parking is also free. Room size is sufficient and clean. AC, TV all are in working condition. In LA the room rates are way too pricey. I found this place is moderately... More

Hopefully we stayed only for 2 nights. If you look to be around Hollywood, is not bad located, but its not at the center of the strip or either that close to attractions. But yes it is Hollywood. The breakfast is poor, only 2 tiny table available... you rather brkfst somewhere else. The personal, is not that nice, and want... More

The rooms are acceptable in terms of cleanliness, but for a room advertised for 4 persons, it felt small compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was for its complimentary breakfast, and upon booking it was noted on our confirmation that rooms came with breakfast. When we got to the... More

nice little hotel with small-ish rooms. The beds are double and are kind of small. The room has fridge, microwave. The bathroom is good size and clean. We heard a little noise from the street, but nothing to disturb sleep. The location is great - walking distance from Chinese Theater. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. The hotel... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. We were given an upstairs room and my partner has difficulty with stairs. It was about 5 pm , went back and asked the manager for a downstairs room. He happily obliged without batting an eye. Much appreciated! The location in WeHo is great! Parking is tight but, that is... If you're looking for a cheap hotel while you're visiting LA, chose another one!! My friends and I booked 3 nights in this hotel during our springbreak (student budget) and from our entire holidays it's been the worst hotel and almost the most expensive one! Unfortunately my friend forgot a packet in the room when we left and also a... More

When we booked we knew that the place was 2.5 stars and based on our experience in Australia we were expecting a nice place. The room didn't match the actual rooms but it wasn't that far off. Rooms are a little run down but it has the vital things you need like bed, shower and aircon. Only a 5min walk... More

For a one-night stay when you don't plan to spend too much time in the room, the Saharan provides adequate lodgings. Despite its location along one of the dingiest stretches of Sunset Blvd., the hotel is safe and well-patrolled by night. Reception service can be brusque or friendly depending on who's manning the desk, but the rooms are surprisingly spacious,... More

1. The pictures looks NOTHING like what we encountered. 2. The room was full of dust, hairs and pieces of the ceiling. 3. I know it's cheap, but the Ramada in WeHo costs about $40 more and its 143432409 better. As soon as we enter our room, the decision was easy: we left! The reason we're leaving 2 starts instead... Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
