My daughter and I visited The Secret Garden B&B in July. My first impression of the home? An absolutely beautifully charming century home! Wow! Thomas is the owner and is a wonderful, hospital person. He is kind, friendly and a wonderful host. Our breakfasts were delicious and quite filling. His home is filled with exquisite treasures from around the world,... More

Thomas was an excellent host. We got there because we needed a quick alternative to a bad airbnb-experience and we were glad to find this gem. Host: Very caring and friendly. We would come again just to visit Thomas. Rooms: Clean and comfortable, we slept like babies. No air conditioning but still pleasantly cool. Parking: Is generally available but may... More

My cousin and I wanted to stay another night in the Hollywood area, since we had more to see and Thomas at the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast gave us that opportunity with a wonderful stay. This is a gem. From the antiques that reflect old Hollywood glamour and a mixture of Hearst Castle type eclectic art to the lovely... More

Since my first stay at the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast back in 2002, recently renamed Secret Garden Hollywood, I have written several reviews of the BnB, and even if over the years the BnB has changed host the friendly and welcoming atmosphere remains, with a location that could not be more convenient, with nice breakfast and gated parking. The... More

Not too sure where to start.. Everything was fabulous! From the location, to the house itself, the beautiful garden, the comfy and clean room, the nice breakfast, the private parking, all the good advices for LA and California generally (went north to Carmel, instead of San Diego, and absolutely LOVED it, thanks for changing our mind!), and of course, the... We stayed for six days, and it was the best lodging experience we have had in many years. The innkeeper, Sylvester, is elegant, attentive, and laid back - all at the same time. The inn is fantastic, the garden is shabby-chic, and it is located in absolutely the best place for easy access to all LA neighborhoods. The breakfasts are... More

Just a perfect stay. Rooms are big and super well ornated in 1920's style. It's in a very peacefull atmosphere, but just 2 blocks away you can discover movie theaters, restaurents and exquisite Deli's! Breakfast is really generous and amazing, and Silvester will welcome you in a delicious way! No doubt about it : GO!

Located just at the western end of the Hollywood Blvd., the bed and breakfast is in a house with lots old but neat furnishings, tons of old and new books, statues, and endearing paraphnelia that all adds to the atmosphere. The hearty and delicious breafast is served by the very friendly and accommodating Mr. Sylvester who strived to cater to... More

We spent a week at the Secret Garden and couldn't be happier. Sylvester was hospitable and his breakfasts are to die for, with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and more than enough to eat (we went without lunch on the strength of these breakfasts). The house itself is charming, loaded with antiques, a little funky but very inviting. We... More
