Very close to Hollywood blvd and okay service. We booked a parking before our arrival and that was perfect with locked garage! Cheap and nice. Good for our purpose when we want to pay less money. Free coffee between 7am - 11am. No breakfast

Our room was pretty luxurious, despite the reception desk looking a bit shabby. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived late on a Friday night and so there wasn't room in the car park but our host showed us where we could park right outside for free. When we next returned the car we were able to put... First impression was so-so. The reception does not look very wellcoming and the coridords are old and not exactly clean. But our room (206, I think) was actually very nice, spacious with a huge window into the courtyard and pool area, comfy beds and a big clean bathroom. The only bad thing was that in the morning the drainage in... More

My room was terrible! Just a bed and a dirty bathroom. The location is good, few blocks from The Chinese Theatre. Buy... The worst: my legs still iching!! I think The bed has bugs!! The worst hotel ever!!!

The hotel was in a great location - I was a solo traveller on my first trip to LA, and being a block away from the start of the Hollywood Walk of Fame meant I felt safe at all times, and it was extremely easy to get everywhere. I had a car, but only used it to get to and... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in August. The location is perfect for seeing all the tourist spots. The man and woman on Reception (who I assume own it) were wonderful, so friendly and inviting, advising us of places to go and what to see. Rooms (two booked) were large and clean, a bit dated but comfortable. The TVs are useless... More

First of all, the room was big, kept clean. I booked through Booking.com and the hotel is called Hollywood 7 Star Motel on there. It was also listed as being pet friendly, but they seemed surprised when I showed up with a cat. Luckily, I mentioned it in the booking, so they gave me the room. The bathroom was large... More

I recently traveled to LA with 2 friends and stayed here for 3 nights before heading to Vegas. We arrived late (around midnight) and check in was easy. We originally booked a room with 2 beds, but for $10 more ($95) we decided on the room with 3 beds. The total cost per night includes all taxes and fees so... More

The place is old but it's quite clean and it looks like it has been recently remodeled. The staff is friendly. Look for Mei, she is very hospitable. Overall, convenient and cheap.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
