Pfft.. don't listen to the bad reviews on this place... We stayed in a 4 bed and shared the room with what sounded like Darth Vader dying a slow and painful death.. of course I'm talking about snoring.. Next day we spoke to a very nice lady named Courtney and she changed us to a new room after a night... More

This place isn't what I thought it would be, it was better! Staff were very friendly , the room Was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. The view was amazing and we could see the beach from our bed. They have a quiet policy after 11pm which you don't get in some hostels so it was a relief that... More

I was welcomed by Juan and Beth who are absolutely fantastic! The dorm I stayed in had an amazing view (4 bed with private bathroom), stayed here for 2 nights! I shared the room with Dan who also works at the hostel, he's really friendly and fun. The place is clean and tidy. The location is virtually on venice beach,... More

We only got to stay for one night passing through on our travels. Staff at front desk were really friendly & helpful. Awesome location for discovering Venice Beach. Breakfast was toast & fruit, better than nothing! We had nice wooden bunks in our room, no problems with noise when sleeping.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad that you enjoyed your stay here with us, however briefly. I just want to make a quick correction for future guests: all of our bunk beds are metal, so the beds were 'nice metal bunks in our room, no problems with noise when sleeping'. Cheers and safe travels! Sara General Manager More

We loved this hostel! We stayed in a private room & it had amazing views of the beach. The staff & location are great, especially your wanting to check out Santa Monica & it's not too far from the airport. I thought it was a little pricy for a hostel, we pad $150 a night for a private room but... More

Location is great less than 1 minute and your on the beach! Kitchen is fairly small and basic but still manageable. Great staff all very helpful and up for a laugh stayed in a dorm room for 2 nights and after staying in vbh down the road in a private room which was very poor Would recommend to friends!

I was recommend to stay here by a friend, and upon arrival I was wondering why. It's outdated, the rooms are basic and there are so many stairs. After spending a few hours here I ended up absolutely loving it. It brings such great energy and I met such wonderful people here. I got along great with the staff, and... More

It's a hostel. You're sharing a room, but you share it with interesting international travelers, so in some ways it's better than a private room at a hotel. Great location. Parking can be difficult at certain times of day. It's LA so check all posted street signs carefully.

Me and my girlfriend spent 6 nights here and had a great stay. The staff are helpful and book any tours you would like to do along with offering suggestions and tips on the local surroundings. We would recommend renting a bike from jays cycles just below the main entrance as you get a 10% discount so $18 a day... More

This hostel is in a perfect location, not even a one minute walk to the beach, there is a great selection of food just outside the doors & there is a great selection of activities to join in everyday. The premises is secure as you must show a key to the camera before being let in. At night I found... More
