Lovely little boutique apartment suites directly on the beach front. Really friendly management team, (thanks for the iphone charger) offering really high quality rooms at a great price. Definitely a better option than the local hotels as you get so much more for so much less. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 10 days in Jan of this year. I was knackered and wanted somewhere I could stay as a female travelling on her own and feel safe. Had a lovely studio overlooking the seafront and loved the sunsets. It was v clean (even though the cleaner didn't do her weekly visit but it didn't bother me). Loved going to... More

Pros: On the strand, clean, and it appears they are renovating several rooms upstairs. The upstairs viewing deck seemed to be a nice touch and great area to get any kind of data/cell signal. We would come back if the price is right. Staff was friendly. Some things to work on: 1) Parking/unloading - unloading apparently OK with the hotel... More

It is a very good place to stay in LA área. In front of the beach, good price and all facilities necessary to have a pleasent experience. The staff is kind, free parking, the room have a good size. I think that the only problem (not important) is the elevator. It is dificult to use it when you have a... More

First of all, the hotel is literally on the boardwalk so you walk out of the hotel to the beautiful beach. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights, and did not want to leave. We didn't even have an ocean view room, and we were in love. Our room faced south and we left the windows open the... More

Fantastic! Fantastic (did I say Fantastic..?) Location is amazing. A simple yet modern and comfortable suites hotel with a sunset view from the roof terrace to die for. Yes, it can be a bit noisy on a Saturday night but that is why you are on Venice beach surely? Security is good despite what others have worried about. If you... More

Lovely place to stay with a great roof terrace. Fabbolous location that is within walking distance from Abbott Kinney Blvd, Venice Canals, Santa Monica etc. We spent 2 days here - wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

We spent 3 nights here, as a family of 4, in December 2014. It was chilly. We had a great time. The kids just disappeared and did their own thing. The restaurants on the boardwalk are the best. To the left the Fig Tree to the right the Candle. Friendly people, always helpful. In the apartment we found that the... More

We stayed in the hotel on Jan-1. The location is great, except the parking which is in another building a few blocks away but parking in Venice beach is not that easy. The staff is really good and we stayed in a nice room with partial ocean view.

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
