The Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles is as close to perfect as a Hotel can be. When you are a guest here, you are truly treated like an A list star. My wife and I have stayed at some of the most acclaimed hotels around the world... so why is the Bel Air so impressive. To begin with, the... More

Maybe it's just because our family has enjoyed the Bel Air so much over the decades, but I really think if I were experiencing the grounds the service, the food for the first time I would rate it best in LA. Bravo to the staff and ownership for continuing the legacy.

The hotel is all remodeled. The room was very clean and the bed sheets are wonderful to sleep in. The room has a little table for two, which is very convenient to enjoy the free breakfast and Afternoon wine offered for free. The bathrobes were a nice surprise! Jerry and the two ladies who work at the hotel were very... More

I wrote a review before and I don't know what happened. This place is like a garden, a dream with flowers, tea and coffee. Breakfast is not included so you need to order and the cost is about 50$ per person if you eat fruit, egg, break and nuts as a routine. You can have all your three meals here... More

My sister (London) and me (San Francisco) met in LA for some fun, and after a mix up where we were supposed to stay at the Beverly Hills ended up here, but I am so glad for the mix-up - this property was much better for us. I couldn't stop thinking about this hotel, so this weekend got on a... More

Overall our stay was good, however, we were disappointed with the service from a member of the reception staff. A day into our stay we got back in the evening as we had spent the day at Disney, we put our car in the valet service and literally the second we walked into our door the phone began to ring.... This must be the best place in the Los Angeles area to relax! The rooms, apartments are luxurious!! As well as the service. You are away from the noisy streets , and hear birds and feel the wonderful fresh air of the hills. Hotel consists of little villas; you can have a private jacuzzi, a private garden and have excellent... More

The gardens were strikingly beautiful. The food was amazing. The live music every night was a treat! Although the hotel is known for its exclusivity, the staff does not act pretentious. My only critique was that I wish there were more books and magazines available to guests in the rooms. Nonetheless, I loved my stay here. I made some great... More

We got a special 'three nights for two' deal at the Bel-Air which made our stay particularly good value. But even if we'd paid full price (about NZ$800 per night for one of the cheapest rooms) it would still rate as the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed in. Understated, elegant and luxurious. The service was warm and unobtrusive, the... More

If you're looking for a quiet oasis type location in LA, then Hotel Bel Air is a great option. It's a very "grown up" atomosphere which is something you either love or hate. It's the polar opposite of staying at say The Mondrian in West Hollywood- there is no partying going on and nothing in the area. The hotel has... More
