Stayed here with family for our LA vacation.. It was awesome. Staff was very friendly at all times. The valet staff was very professional. Our room was always clean and towels were always fresh and plentiful.. If you can pull if off be sure to get the executive lounge as part of your stay..

Stayed here about 10 times. I'm picky.... It is very clean and staff is great! Pool is very nice as well. Stay here. Stayed many places downtown. This is the only spot I stay for business or pleasure.

This is a hotel that is designed to deal with large groups and meetings. That is not to say that it is not a very comfortable place to stay as an individual but rather that it is capable of accommodating and handling large crowds. We had a comfortable room on the 16th floor. Wifi was included in our group package... More

I stayed in LA last year for a conference and was staying across the street at the Residence Inn. This year I was at the same conference but was booked at the JW Marriott. This time I drove to LA and valet parked. The attendees weren't the most helpful and even though I had 2 large carryon bags and a... More

Stayed here after an event at the Staples Center. Late check-in was not a problem. Keys were waiting for me, and the check-in process was little more than 3 minutes. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms had been redone and excellently appointed and clean.

Great rooms with a bright lively decor located in the lively L.A.Live part of Downtown LA. I travel a lot on business to these types of hotel but this was a family visit. The hotel is ideal for both. Lots of choices for food and drink nearby including the Yard House next door and The Original Pantry (est 1924 which... More

I had a beautiful room. The breakfast was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, and the stay was restful. It was also loud. Very loud. It seemed to cater for all things convention and may have forgotten that there are still a lot of people over 40/45 who don't particularly want hip and funky right between the eyes. There was no calm... More

After a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas, the front desk staff saw I was quite exhausted. After a short chat during the check-in process, I was happy to be offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite, complimentary parking, $50 per day dining credit, along with wine and chocolates sent to my room. The hotel itself is very clean and... More

I stayed here during the LA film festival as it was very close to the movie theatre. This LA Live area is full of entertainment and restaurants and it's a great place to hang out. I had a King Room on a high floor with a great view of the city. The room was clean and bathroom was very nice.

The rooms are very clean and the suites are nice and tidy. The hotel is in a great safe area. Many great restaurants and a Starbucks near too. I love the fitness center and style of hotel. The pool has a nice touch and a great jacuzzi. I will definitely be coming back.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
