I am only giving this hotel 1 star because you cannot give it 0 stars. This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. After I checked in to my room, I went back to the front desk to get a refund and they did not give me money back. I was in the room for less than 5... More

This hotel room isn't air conditioned, and don't have shower... That's right no shower. There is a shower room at the end of hallway however. I guess everyone on that floor to use? With one shower head... Are you kidding.. The room was painted in dark brown and there is a gas or water pipe running down from ceiling to... More

When walking into the lobby, I thought I was in the wrong hotel as I had only booked a really cheap hotel for my stay, and this hotel looked very posh. Fast forward to me walking out of the elevator on floor 11, and you soon realise they ran out of money after doing the lobby. Its very tired and... More

Small room, dated furnishing but was clean. Bathroom had new fixtures, and the shower stall was sufficient. Ran out of hot water after a few minutes at night...was good early in the morning. Good selection of TV channels (HBO, ESPN,cable stations). Lots of younger tourists (sort of like a youth hostel). Nice lobby and breakfast area. $70 for a queen... More

..you can stay here, but in all other circumstances avoid. Somewhat dirty and poor quality rooms with some flashy paint added on a stained wall. Horrible shared bathrooms and toilets where they also seem to have painted over the stains instead of detoxing the whole place. The breakfast made my wife cry (I'm not kidding)...

We stayed here for just one night as a transition between a visit to Las Vegas and a drive up the coast. We had a private room and it was as expected it would be. Simple, but that's all we needed and it wasn't expensive. Shared bathroom wasn't that great, but did the job. We didn't use the facilities that... More

Hotel is one of the older building in LA that have been restored and converted. The place is very cool and very modern inside. Hotel was on the expensive side. Bed was very comfortable. Once you got off main street area was a little scary. Only negative was hotel didnt have air conditioning, which made for a very hot night.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our travelling trip up the coast. We stayed in a double room and had our own bathroom. For the price we paid the room was exactly what we expected. It was a little worn but very comfortable. The beds were made every day and the room was clean! The breakfast was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
