I've stayed at this hotel several times since it was built around 2001-ish. It's a move away from the old-school "clapboard" Residence Inn model, instead being in a Mediterranean Villa style, and I don't think any of the rooms open directly onto the outside - but all onto normal hotel corridors, which is comforting if you're worried about security. The room was very clean. Instead of the usual bedspread (that most hotels don't wash), they put a clean sheet over the comforter so I had no qualms about letting the baby play on the bed. Very accomodating -- early check-in, late check-out. Provided a portable crib. Free breakfast is ample. Grounds are well-kept and very inviting. No musty odors... more

We have stayed at this property several times and always found it to be most pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. The accomodations are extremely clean and well maintained. Stayed two nights while at a wedding in the area. Very nice facilities, and very secure. Need key to get into the buildings, pool, fitness center, etc. Lovely setting on busy El Camino Real, yet didn't hear *any* traffic noise.
