Despite living in Santa Barbara county for 7 years I had never heard about the Victorian Mansion in Los Alamos until searching on tripadvisor.com for an anniversary weekend get away. The Vick captured our imagination and didn't fail to surprise and amaze. The Egyptian room was fantastic and we peeked into a couple of others - the attention to detail... More

We stayed here as our "Treat" after spending 2 weeks travelling the west coast, from LA, San Diego, to Arizona, The Canyon, Las Vegas and back to LA. As we were the only ones staying here, we were shown all the rooms and told that we could take our pick!! So excited, but we stuck with our original choice of... More

We stayed here 10/16/10 and 10/17/10 for our one year wedding anniversary. Its the perfect place to reconnect with your loved one and escape to a fantasy world of unparalleled romance. We stayed the first night in the Egyptian Room, which is the only suite with a private balcony. The second night we stayed in the Gypsy Room, which has... More

My Husband and I like B&Bs. On our way to wine country in the Santa Ynez Valley, we stopped in here for a night before meeting up with friends. It was about a half hour-45 mins from our final destination of Solvang, CA. And COMPLETELY worth it. We stayed in the Egyptian Suite, which was fun. When we arrived someone... More

I booked the trip for my boyfriend's 49th Birthday, and it was an incredible experience. From the minute we stepped on property I knew we were in for an amazing weekend. We had the 50s suite and the attention to detail, right down to the Mr Bubbles in the hot tub was incredible. The service was excellent, we loved the... More

We booked the Pirates suite and we knew we were in for something different, but you really have to experience the Victorian Mansion on your own; we originally wanted the Egyptian Suite but it was booked so we went for something different "The Pirates suite" and we are glad we did; our inkeeper on Saturday was so nice and you... My boyfriend and I (24yr. and 26yr.) booked the Egyptian suit for one night as a mini weekend getaway, but it ended up feeling like we took a whole vacation! (especially from reality:) When we arrived, Rod the owner was there to welcome us and give us a tour of the mansion and some of it's background history.. The mansion itself... More

Went on a wine tasting adventure with some great girlfriends to the lovely and friendly Los Alamos! We stayed at the victorian mansion and were lucky enough to stay in the gypsy and pirate rooms! The rooms are decorated BEAUTIFULLY- each room styled out with a fire place, hidden bathroom, large hot tub/jacuzzi tubs! (so much fun) Rod took GREAT... More

We had an amazing overnight in the Pirate Room. Every detail is so fun, from the hidden bathrooms to the music selected for each room. We loved the swaying lanterns so much we almost forgot we were really on land! Rod was such a great host and showed us all the other rooms...we can't wait to return. Make sure to... More

For years I wanted to stay at the mansion, when the time finally came I was completely blown away. The fact that I was able to experience it with my best friend and partner made the wait well worth it. We stayed in the 50's room which was just a dream. The best part was the bed. It was soooooo...
