This is the second time we've stayed here, and once again it was a wonderful memorable experience. The first time we were Roman room, this time we chose the Egyptian room. Both rooms exceeded our expectations. If your truly looking for a one of a kind romantic get away you won't be disappointed. Rod and the crew at the Vic... more

We stayed in the Egyptian room at the Victorian Mansion and it exceeded our already high expextations! The room was amazing. We loved the hot tub and the patio and all the details of our themed room. The breakfast was great! Couldn't have asked for more! P.S. we also reccomend the flatbread place right down the street for dinner. It... more

What a wonderful getaway! Definitely worth the stay... we enjoyed the unique character of this bed and breakfast... from the incredible hospitality of the owner "Rod" to the comfort of the bed and delcious breakfast served at our convenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay... We were also thrilled with our dining experience at "Full of Life Flatbread" which was recommended... more

My husband and I stayed here on our one year wedding anniversary. After a day of picnicing and wine tasting this was the perfect treat. We stayed in the Roman Room which was full of detail and fun suprises. They even have Roman themed movies and music for you to enjoy. The fire place, bathtub and breakfast delivery all added... more

This was a very special occasion -- a 40th anniversary of our first meeting -- so I wanted a very special place to celebrate during our trip to the Santa Ynez Valley wine country. A friend suggested the Vick and said it was fun, charming and unforgettable. Five completely different themed rooms! After looking online, I knew she was right.... more

Had a blast staying in the pirate room. The owner gave us a tour of the other rooms the next morning, and now we're trying to figure out when we can come back. We're going to try the gypsy room next! more

I stumbled across The "Vick" in Los Alamos recently upon searching for an alternative to spending the weekend in Santa Barbara. While I love S.B., I was looking for a retreat...if not a get away from the tourist and boy did I get it! Words alone are unable to adaquately convey how much my partner and I both enjoyed our... more

I stumbled across The Victorian Mansion website while searching for a new B&B to stay at in the wine country. My husband and I love staying at B&B's over hotels just because they seem more cozy and fun. The Vick completely measured up. The Inn Keeper Rod was so very polite and friendly, he let us tour all the rooms... more

We stayed at the Vick 8 or 9 years ago (the Roman room) and loved our experience then and thought of it last month (5/09) when we wanted a romantic getaway. This time we picked the Pirate room and were delighted to meet the new owner, Rod Rigole, who fell in love with the place as a guest like we... more

My husband and I stayed at The Vick for one night in April. I became intrigued as I usually use Tripadvisor to help me plan my trips and this was one of the few places I had seen that received glowing reviews from everyone that stayed there. I decided to book the pirate themed room and have to say even... more
