My boyfriend and I booked the romance package for the Egyptian room. Both innkeepers were very warm and friendly and helpful. When we checked in we got to see a few of the unoccupied rooms...they are all so creative and different from each other. The bath in the Egyptian room was amazing and there is a nice balcony that is... More

We came up for my wife's birthday over the recent long MLK weekend. We stayed in the Roman suite and it was absolutely perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the soaking tub relaxing and the fireplace warm and cozy. We also booked an in-room massage which was excellent. Rod and his staff were very pleasant and went out of their... More

Each room is unique, we booked the Gypsy Room complete with a real wagon to sleep in. All four wall were covered with a landscape murial of the four seasons, we had fun spoting different animal. There is a sunken tub, fireplace, TV/DVD, sound system and real wagon wheel with stained glass segments between the spokes and a deck of... More

My wife and I stayed in the Roman suite. It was perfect in every detail. We really enjoyed the "soaking tub" and fireplace was warm and cozy in our cool December stay. The village is an easy walk. We will come back again and again.

My husband and I married on November 9th and aren't going on our honeymoon until December. However, we wanted at least one night away to celebrate our nuptials and found the Victorian Mansion to be the perfect spot. We stayed in the Egyptian suite which is the most romantic and exotic room I've ever stayed in! With a mural of... More

This hotel is absolutely amazing! All the rooms are unique. We stayed in the 50's room and I love it! Ask Rod to tell the history of the hotel and search the 18 faces on the facade. I wish I could stay in every room! The price is worth it. And the village is very small, but there is a... More

We stayed in the Egyptian suite. Phenomenal. From the moment Denise meets you at the door, until the morning after, an experience to savor. We loved everything about it! The sunken tub and balcony! And the four post bed is good for tying!

We booked a couple of days in the Gypsy Suite as part of a week long wine vacation. This is a very playful place stay, quiet, NO KIDS allowed, very clean and very artistic. Just check the photos on the webpage for room details. Believe me, even though they look pretty good on the webpage, they look better in person.... More

I didn't know what to expect when we booked this suite. We picked the 50's room and were completely blown away at the attention to every single detail imaginable. The artistry and ingenuity are not to be understated. We toured all of the rooms with the exception of the Pirate room, which was occupied, upon our arrival. Our room included... More
