Me and my wife stayed for her birthday on our way up north for the weekend. Our innkeeper was super friendly and showed us all the rooms and gave us a little history on the hotel when we arrived. We stayed in the French room. It was cool and the balcony really made it that much better! Our cheese platter... More

Made for an unforgettable birthday weekend! We stayed in the 50's room. From the REAL1956 Cadillac to the Drive In Movie Screen. The entire room detailed meticulously. Quite the experience. Very modern luxuries and amenities. Lovely breakfast magically appeared via dumbwaiter in the room at the time we requested. Rod the Owner/Innkeeper was such a wonderful host. He gave us... More

What a surprise! Don't miss this place, it's a hidden gem. Room phenomenal, staff super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Roman room, but we're not done until we try them all. Next stop, 50's room !

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary by taking in the Santa Barbara wine country. We love it there! We decided to stay in the area instead of drive back to LA. What a wonderful place to celebrate. The rooms are unlike any other place we've stayed! What a great way to celebrate our blissful marriage! The proprietor, Rod,... More

On an overnight trip to Solvang we decided to stay at The Vic and are sure glad we did! We haven't stopped raving about the place since! The creativity and attention to detail that went into the décor of each of these theme rooms is nothing short of amazing! We stayed in the Gypsy Suite. Our Queen sized bed was... More

Stayed in the Gypsy Suite, although we got to view the Egyptian Suite and the 50's Suite. All three were amazing and creative. Excellent staff and service. Good breakfast included. Very clean and cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. If there were a 6 star option, I would pick it. We will definitely be back someday!

Four of us were looking for a luxurious place to stay in the Los Olivos wine country area. We found THE VICTORIAN MANSION online (www.thevick.com) and thought it might fit the bill. It surpassed all expectations (and though the website is helpful it just can't fully show the amazing creative decor of the rooms)! The Victorian Mansion is a creative... More

My boyfriend and I booked the romance package for the Egyptian room. Both innkeepers were very warm and friendly and helpful. When we checked in we got to see a few of the unoccupied rooms...they are all so creative and different from each other. The bath in the Egyptian room was amazing and there is a nice balcony that is... More
