This is the second time I have booked with Hotwire, and it will be the last. This hotel is not near the downtown, but it is near the hospital, St. Mary's, which was an issue for emergency vehicle noise. The noisy air conditioner took care of drounding out the outside noise. Great hotel with good amenities. Hotel is in downtown Long Beach but near metro and didn't feel threatened at night. Only down side is that it is 1 mile from beach, but walk keeps you fit from all those huge meals. more
