I didn't choose the hotel for it's neighborhood...it's not ghetto, it's urban!...It's located within minutes of the Long Beach business district. The room was fabulous, great bed, clean sheets....a pillow menu...the surroundings were quiet and most of the clientele were professionals. I've read some bad reviews about this hotel....I beg to differ. I was there for 7 nights...and enjoyed every... more

We stayed here the night before our Carnival Cruise 9/26/09 on the Splendor out of Long Beach. We flew into to LAX and took the Super Shuttle to the hotel with no problems. i stayed here during my work trip to LA and the hotel is quite good, clean rooms, all necessities, location wise if you are coming from LAX, its not very convenient but if you fly to long beach, its perfect. The restaurant staff was cool but i didn't enjoy the food that much. more

The new rooms on the recently remodeled 4th floor are very nice. We have stayed here before and found the customary great and freindly service to be the same each time. I have used Priceline to book MANY hotels before but I have never experienced such horrible customer service than this hotel.
