I recently stayed at the Marriott Long Beach. The hotel appears to be an older property that has been renovated. The age of the property shows in some areas, but it well maintained. The room was spacious with a nice view overlooking the pool and the Long Beach Airport beyond. The airport does not have a lot of traffic, so... More

I stayed at this property for a conference. Hotel shared a common wall with Long Beach Airport, while not my ideal hotel for a vacation. Was very enjoyable for business travel. The hotel was located in a business park, but you really did not get that feel. You would need a vehicle if you were to decide to visit restaurants... More

The hotel is near the airport, the area is convenient. The housekeeping staff does start early. The hotel does need some updating (carpeting and décor is a bit cheesy). I loved the toiletries they provided. Overall the place was clean and friendly. The airport noise is a bit distracting, but that's what you get for being so close to the... More

Thank you for your favorable comments and review. Our close proximity to the Long Beach Airport has it's advantages and disadvantages. Please note though that the Airport has a curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a daily basis. We look forward to your return in the very near future. More

Overall this hotel was great. Great staff, concierge lounge, beds, etc. The only downside was yes housekeeping knocks on doors way to early and even knocks and comes in when the do not disturb sign is on the door. Would definitely stay here again though if in the area.

We visited Long Beach the first weekend of June to watch World League volleyball at the Pyramid at Long Beach State. This Marriott is in close proximity, about 10 min away, close to the airport and interstate 405, not too far from the shopping mall. But right in the area, there isn't much. You need a car. The lobby area... More

Uncomfortable beds and pillows. Strange housekeeping service, knocking on our door before 8 a.m. Did not keep pool towels stocked and took 20 minutes to get towel when asked. The hotel and room seemed old, although it appeared to have been upgraded. Would prefer to stay at Fairfield Inn or Springhill Suites, which are usually newer.

Thank you for your review. I have forwarded your comments to our Housekeeping Department regarding the knock on your door before 8:00 a.m. and the availability of towels. It is surprising that they would do this since Housekeepers normally clock-in around 8:00 a.m. and start to be on the floors after 8:30 a.m. only. Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience... First time I stayed here and thought the hotel decor was nice. The layout is a little off but that's okay. The concierge is a little cramped up and their Starbucks coffee maker just takes tooooo long to make coffee. Staff was friendly. I'd stay here again.

Long Beach Marriott is the best place to stay prior to a cruise that Leaves from the San Pedro or Los Angeles Harbor. This hotel is very conveniently located near the Long Beach Airport. This hotel is just a stone's throw from the Long Beach Airport, so very convenient if you're flying in late or headed out early in the morning. It's a fairly standard Marriott (which, in my view means that it's predictable, you get what you expect with no surprises... and that's all good). It's decorated in the last generation of Marriott... Thank you for your review and comments. Aside from the 2 restaurants/bar you mentioned,The Terrace Grille which offers American Cuisine and the Tamarindo's Margarita Bar and Cantina, we also have the Vista Bar/Starbuck's Coffee Lounge which offers "to go" menu items. Our complimentary shuttle to and from the Long Beach Airport would be another advantage of staying in our hotel. More
